Drafting a G at #4 would indeed be terrible…
Any OT they take at 4 will play left tackle for them.

FWIW, I heard that the Titans had a reasonable expectation that he would end up a guard but wanted him anyway. The Titans needed a starting tackle, they drafted Peter Skoronski and said they believed he could play tackle at the next level despite his short wingspan.
He has played guard ever since and they drafted a tackle first overall the next year.
A whole lot of teams are run by morons, using “professionals” as a catch-all reason why posters here are wrong doesn’t work. Many of these professionals are dimwits.
Garrett spilled the beans just to justify to everyone why he changed his mind about wanting out. He damned near spelled it out. Hijack his PS5, turn on Madden, and you'll see he's got Shedeur in Cleveland.
"I’ve tried not to overthink it too much or get caught up in all of the misdirection going on in the national media. The Browns have the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, and there are two top quarterbacks in this draft in Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders. With the Titans poised to draft Ward unless they trade the pick, that leaves Sanders there for the taking, and I still think the Browns will turn the card in on him there."

lmao.
Campbell at 4 is how coaches and GM get fired.
Would you take Richie Incognito at 4?
That’s this kids ceiling.
You dont have the slightest idea of what you are talking about. Campbell faced Jared Verse when he was 18 and held his own. He played left tackle every snap in the SEC the past 3 years, only let up 4 sacks total, and 2 his last 2 seasons. You wanted them to trade down from 3 last year, and you wanted to give away the 4 for Jameson Williams and George Pickens, so you are definitely an expert on how to get a GM fired. If they take Campbell he will play left tackle for them, and he will play it well, and you will be left looking like an idiot, as always.

Bro.Lmao,
I said a swap of picks for Pickens I never said 4 for Pickens.
Yes I would do 4 for Williams 100 percent.
I mentioned Diggs months ago.
was I wrong then?
Great College players don’t always turn to great Pros the tangibles the attributes matter. That lack of size, length, could be something no matter how hard he works is just a disadvantage.
I would 100 percent take Simmons over him.
Simmons looks like a 10 year left tackle.
I guess we will have to wait for the draft but I feel 4 is too early for any tackle especially one with question marks how his game translates.
What did Scar say?Bro.
You were trading #4 to 3-4 different teams without addressing the LT situation.
Campbell will be a fine NFL LT. But we should listen to you instead of a guy like Scar ?
First I do think that given he's gone up against top talent and done it for 4 years in a difficult conference gives him a very good chance to be the exception. You dont have the slightest idea of what you are talking about. But going up against the college stars a few times a year isn't the same as what he'll face in the pros.
In the pros the fear is just about every week he'll be going up against someone and giving up the arm length. These guys aren't just longer but they a trained at a professional level how to utilize and take advantage of it. The fear isn't even how he faces the stars (well that's a fear too) but what about a guy like Dietrich Wise who has that length and technique to possibly make him look silly. And as much as love Wise we aren't talking a QB assassin.
I think you saw in our Tet conversation yesterday that I'm starting to circle back in Campbell's direction. His tape combined with our needs gives me a better feel than anyone else.Dante Scarnecchia has made it clear that this isn’t an issue for tackles who know how to use their arms/hands aggressively to get into the chests of pass rushers, and that’s exactly what Campbell does. And his arms actually did meet the desired 33’ at his pro day, which could be called into question, except for the fact that this happened consistently at pro days across the country. The Combine measurements were off, otherwise the pro day measurements would have been similar, not consistently off by a half inch at the pro days.
I think valid arguments can be made for taking Hunter or Carter based off of a BPA draft approach, which is ultimately the best way to build a team. But if it isn’t either of those 2 guys then it should be either Campbell or Membou, provided they don’t take a 2nd to move down a bit, also a move that a valid argument can be made for.
1. TEN - Ward

Overall, after Hunter and Carter, it is a scramble drill. Trading down seems like the right move if we can get an extra 2nd. Trade Milton for a 3rd and we have 5 picks on Day 2.I think you saw in our Tet conversation yesterday that I'm starting to circle back in Campbell's direction. We can reach for a TE or RB because the floor might be higher but the need isn't as strong at these positions.
I still consider Tet interesting despite your opinions but his red flags are probably bigger than Campbell's which really only are the one issue of arm length.
Or we go defense but then Graham's weight IMO is the biggest red flag of all of them. Especially for us since Milt isn't huge either.
I'd definitely still consider The GA LBer or even CB Will Johnson but again the needs not as heavy as LT.
I'm not saying draft for solely for need but taking need, red flags, and who's tape is the best one can certainly land on Campbell still.
What did Scar say?
Scar likes Trippilo, but he could be there in the third.
I agree especially if the trade down isn't too far and we can still get our hands on one of these guys. Problem is I'm not sure there's going to much of a market to trade up. Even for Sanders I think the smart play is to let him fall to you like we did with Mac. The only way we could have made that pic worse was if we panicked for a QB and gave up even more to get him.Overall, after Hunter and Carter, it is a scramble drill. The Cowboys might trade up from 12 for Sanders. It is kind of a smart move by them so Sanders can sit for a year or two. Prescott is not the answer and I think the Cowboys can get out of Prescott's contract after 2026.I agree especially if the trade down isn't too far and we can still get our hands on one of these guys. It only takes one. And that would be a fun one. I'm rooting for him to end up in Dallas. The Cowboys might trade up from 12 for Sanders.
