I just remembered him at LG where he was pretty sound.. I'm thinkingi think you are correct... but honestly, i don't remember.
You think it’s more rational to pass final judgment on a player SIX games into their nfl career, than to allow them time to develop?I don't understand this propensity from some of the fanbase to convince themselves and others - the people they SAW, with their OWN EYES, completely suck as part of the worst offensive line of the past 20 ****ing years, and they're somehow good, or just need more time.
What is this about?
I do think all the chatter about Campbell’s measurables could give him a big chip on his shoulder. He’s already a strong locker room presence. While I doubt he will ever be a top LT in the league, I could see the circumstances making him into a great leader on the team.Don't worry about your blinsside Drake..
Yes! I was listening to Barth who mentioned Vrabel and others in the organization are big fans of Campbell and he impressed on his Visit.. he feels like the "right " choice... his attitude, his tenacity is what this OL needs. We just need a solid starter at LT.. I have no faith in verderian lowe..I do think all the chatter about Campbell’s measurables could give him a big chip on his shoulder. The play of Robinson at RG was cause for hope. Dominant run blocker. He was confused at LG.I’m not putting a lot of faith in Wallace or Layden Robinson, in past drafts they would have been drafted later than they were.
True. Not getting it from fatso Onwenu. BTW, is he going to report to camp grossly overweight for a third straight year? Inquiring minds want to know. Will Campbell’s tenacity is what this OL needs.
Sure but not at 4. Draft Hunter then trade back up, I mean Richie Incognito is nice but won’t have coordinators up all night.Yes! I’ve never seen anyone claim a guy was qualified to be an NFL LT because his college OL coach says he would have been the backup there if needed.Wolf may well be a moron, but his statements about Wallace being a LT came because of the Penn St. O-line Coach having stated that Wallace took snaps as the LT2 for 4 years at Penn St. But would THAT GUY know about O-line, right?
Fatassian Lowe keeps DCs up all night, celebrating.Sure but not at 4. Draft Hunter then trade back up, I mean Richie Incognito is nice but won’t have coordinators up all night.
“The person he is” was Mayo garbage.Moses is still a solid player at his age.. I think Vrabel was leaning more towards the leader and person Moses is and what he can do for the young guys. Wallace and Robinson were rookies that had a HC that frankly had no business being one. I'd be willing to see what they can develop into as they were rookies.. also part of the OL vrabel resign Jacobs and brown.. that is admission from the team that coaching was piss poor.
He is said to have been and excellent leader and one of the main reasons he was signed. While I agree he was the best available even at his age. However we'll see this season...“The person he is” was Mayo garbage.
Moses was signed because he was the best RT we could find.
We have no evidence he is a leader for a guy who develops young people.
Whether it’s true or not is coincidental.
Or riding bikes though the locker room like the gong show last season..True. Not getting it from fatso Onwenu. BTW, is he going to report to camp grossly overweight for a third straight year? Inquiring minds want to know.
Being so fat early last season is why they gave up on him as RT. He lost too much lateral movement ability.
I'd love Hunter LTD.. don't get me wrong if he's there oh without a doubt Vrabel is taking him... however as we closer to draft night in a few weeks.. I'm feeling like Hunter won't be there..Sure but not at 4. Draft Hunter then trade back up, I mean Richie Incognito is nice but won’t have coordinators up all night.
That's more than a "Reach". Might be bordering on the impossible.Reaching here but what if the plan was have Wallace train at LT all off season and insert him there?
And he may be a better guard/tackle on the Practice Squad….Moses has played LT and RT - he is versatile. Trapilo also played both positions well at the Senior Bowl. We could still sign Smith at LT as a 1 year stop gap.
Wallace might be a great guard behind Onwenu.
All of the major draft experts stated before last years's draft that Wallace was best suited to RG in the NFL. If that proves to be the case, Wolf drafted a guy who was a RT, who is said to be a better NFL RG, but hoped to flip him to LT even though he wasn't even projected as a solid NFL RT. Yikes!Especially since Wolf is a moron who had NO idea where to put anyone on the line. Wallace was an average RT in COLLEGE and Wolf was like…heck yeah…that’s my LT right there
