Official 2025 Mock Draft Game (Discussion ONLY) Thread

7th round ? Where the heck are we?
yeah we ran a mock sim for the rest of the league.

We picked Kyle Williams at 144

Now we are at pick 217

We can vote on this and then mock the next couple before voting again for 220

How are the first two still available? For value sake alone, they should top everyones list

Mello Dotson, CB, Kansas
Que Robinson, EDGE, Alabama
LeQuint Allen, RB, Syracuse

we can take our time from here. Let's just come to a consensus on 10 names to put to a poll.

My Top(not in order) Ten:
LeQuint Allen
Craig Woodson
Nick Martin
Barryn Sorrell
Tyler Batty
Cooper Mays
Nazir Stackhouse
Vernon Broughton

TBC...
I'm gonna vote RB Brashard Smith at this point. Surprised he's lasted this long and the Patriots need to add rotation depth behind Stevenson.

Smith has explosive speed 4.39 40 and had very good college production to back it up as well. 1300 yards 14 TDs, added 300 in the air.

After that I recommend we grab an IOL or a DB to finish up the draft.

Barryn Sorrel

Bryson Nesbit. Toy Story fans know.

Sorry that was the 6th round selection. We went with Kyle Williams.

There's a new list which I promise to take more time with.

If we're going with 10, mine would be (not in order)

Mello Dotson
Que Robinson
Lequint Allen
Devin Neal
Nazir Stackhouse
Craig Woodson
Jackson Hawes
Nick Martin
Willie Lampkin
Drew Kendall

Keep them coming guys. And I'll post a poll first thing tomorrow morning for at least the day maybe 24 hours. Remember with only 2 picks between the next selection there's going to be the same names available at 219

Just a reminder for those who haven't been following closely....

Pats selections thus far:

4) Will Campbell
38) Josh Simmons
69) Jalen Royals
77) Kyle Kennard
106) Deone Walker
144) Kyle Williams

I'm not a big fan of Walker but aside from that pick, that's a good draft.

Ok, so Brashard got taken between 144 and 217? Makes sense. He's a pretty good prospect.

Willie Lampkin is 5'10 270. Uhh, and he's a guard? Feels super undersized here.

Let's just go RB Lequint Allen. Good college productivity. Kind of average athleticism but we're talking 7th round pick here. Who knows he could come good, we need some more depth on offense.

If Lampkin had been like 6'4 305 I would have been interested but he's just too small imo.

7th round ? Where the heck are we?
Yes, the draft was simmed from a few picks after the Pats 4th rounder. We took the WR Kyle Williams in the 5th, had no 6th, and are at our initial 7th rounder.

<cough> Full Back <cough>

He's listed as a guard but he'd be a center in the NFL if he does play on the line. I think he'd be an outstanding blocking FB though.

Let's let the board decide.

The poll for pick 217 will be Willie Lampkin vs LeQuint Allen.

Then we mock the next 2 and we can do a much larger poll for 220.

I'll go with Lampkin because, **** that, sometimes NFL football is about size of the heart in the player and not the size of the player (see last year's abomination of a starting LT).

Nick Martin is my vote for 220

Then I have to vote for The Quint. Let's give Josh his James White.

it's very likely Lampkin is still there at 220 so he gets "Lamped" lol in with the other 200 names lol for pick 220
