Should they not be? 8-26 the last two years and the Pats still have the worst offensive roster in the NFL, despite a mountain of cap space and a QB on his rookie deal. Would we be allowed to complain if the Pats had gone 4-30, 2-32 or 0-34 the last two years or would that still be behavior worth criticizing in your eyes? The "Patriots can do no wrong" crowd is absolutely insufferable.

We all feel uneasy of the slow rebuild
We would all love to go out and get some great new talent on Offense
We gave Godwin a significant more contract offer than he excepted
Ronnie Stanley stayed home
The OT’s and WR’s in FA had warts all over them
The Defense had some very good talent so we spent like drunken sailors to make for a strong Defensive side of the ball
We had so many holes. So we spent where it had very good talent. That’s smart business
We took 4 of the top 10 FA’s. The highest spenders in FA and we will fill some more mid range players in the near future

If I remember correctly before FA you said we would not spend a dime. We were so cheap. You won’t see the Patriots name anywhere on the first day of the tampering period
Instead The Patriots spent a total of $295.9 million on 10 players above and $299.8 million on 12 players in free agency. They spent the most money of any team in the NFL this offseason. New England also spent $284 million on the first day of free agency, the most in the NFL by $132 million.

Where were you when this was all going down on that first day after you boldly made those predictions
YOU HID, and were not heard from until it was safe for you to come out and complain about the offensive side where there truthfully is very little talent and where you could try to save face

Tell us all where we lost out on extreme talent on the offense side of the ball.
No Kupp and Metcalf were not coming here.
The 2 Moore OT’s were not very good

I honestly dont have any legitimate gripes with the Patriots off season. You had a team that was hot garbage last season and the season before. You’ve flipped the roster, you brought in a new coach and you’ve spent more than anybody .


Still a long way to go, and at the end of the day if the drafting doesn’t improve then these signings are just filler until the next attempt at a rebuild
