I really wanted them to sign Jenkins, but given how long he was a free agent it makes me wonder what the issue is with him or if it was the money he wanted was too much.

They had the inside information, Thomas Brown coached him.

Sometimes I’m convinced it’s devil magic for moving on from Brady that’s the cause of this total ineptitude on building an offense in all forms.

Jenkins was also a one year deal, interesting. Teams must not trust his durability

He's not going to be Diggs until week 7-10
He could be ready by week 1, but you're right if you mean he won't be the Diggs we have seen until later in the year. I think that a 70% Diggs can still do wonders for Maye.

Edit: The ACL graft is at 75%-80 % strength at 3 months and not 100% until about a year after surgery. He had Surgery in November (I am guessing because finding info about specific medical condition for someone is difficult due to HIPPA) so theoretically he could play ready by Training camp on a limited basis (8 months post op, so 10 months would be week 1).

Needs that deer antler stuff

I hear you can get a sick deal on it if you combine it with the companion white suit. Best to put an airtag in the pocket though, they have a habit of disappearing

Not one offensive playmaker signed to date
Pretty disappointing
The Patriots signed Mack Hollins. You will either like that or be assigned to the Gulag by the defenders of Robert Kraft and every move the team makes!

Hey at least he put up better numbers than N'Keal Harry and Ja'Lynn Polk last year!

Lest we forget this was Polk's Year 1. Man we sure know how NOT to draft WRs!

Let's take a peek at Ladd McConkey's year since we passed him over.

Oh NO, let's pretend that we didn't. Wolf is definitely the RIGHT GM for this team, never mind he took Polk over McConkey, just ERASE that from your memory banks!

I was just confused by the not addressing WR1 in free agency was not great when there wasn’t a WR1 available. Godwin was not available

Godwin was technically available, he was a free agent, he just wasn’t interested in leaving Tampa Bay. Which is, honestly, good for him. It’s good to see a player prioritize other things than just $$$$. Brady, Edelman, and some others did the same for the Dynasty Patriots.

Vrabel is in charge of the Patriots.

Feel free to name a GM who hasn’t made a mistake in the draft. Belichick took Aaron Dobson over Keenan Allen. Howie Roseman took Jordan Davis over Keith Hamilton and Breece Hall, he should be fired.

It’s f*cking hilarious watching all these people call for Wolf to be fired when they know that Vrabel is the one making personnel decisions. They just want to ***** and whine and don’t have the balls to blame Vrabel for their idiotic disappointment over free agency. Where the Patriots are supposed to magically make star Left Tackles and Wide Receiver signings where none exist. F*cking Eliot Wolf, why hasn’t signed Justin Jefferson and Joe Alt???? And when you ask them who they would have signed they go mute and disappear. It’s ridiculous.

Some folks worked themselves up thinking Ronnie Stanley was coming when he never even got to free agency. Then it was Chris Godwin who “technically” hit free agency for all of 5 minutes, and the Pats offered a huge overpay to, but he took less to stay home.

The Pats did exactly what folks here want and it didn’t work out, so somehow that is Eliot Wolf’s fault. Ignore the other overpay to Milton Williams and the other solid signings. Oh and also it means Kraft is cheap! Something something something lighthouse

Yep, it’s ridiculous. The Patriots did exactly what they should have done in free agency. They recognized that the talent was on defense, and rebuilt their defense significantly. When you have holes everywhere you fix the holes with the talent available, instead of overreaching where it isn’t. At the end of free agency they have two glaring needs, left tackle and wide receiver, and both will be addressed in the draft. That doesn’t mean every position has been upgraded to where you want it to be in two years, but for now they have filled some holes with long term answers, and others with band aids that can be replaced with low to no real cap impact the next two years. That’s how you rebuild a franchise, you don’t panic and try to do everything at once, and screw yourselves long term in the process. Anyone who doubts this should take a good look at what the Dolphins have done recently, and how it ended up screwing them long term.

How dare you have such and even handed take. Unacceptable.

The draft's best example of a mistake was a GOAT QB who was passed on 6 times by every team in the league and 5 times by the Pats before he was finally selected.

The NFL HOF is chock full of players who were NOT the first player picked at that position. Some, like Brady, were way down the draft list.

I don't see why fans get so worked up about draft picks. Who's the best QB from last year's draft? It's not the first player taken.

And I'll be honest

the more I think/dig about our new lineman, i get more uneasy.

Is it really that uncomfortable to punt on a few more interior guys/Rotational pieces?

Should they not be? 8-26 the last two years and the Pats still have the worst offensive roster in the NFL, despite a mountain of cap space and a QB on his rookie deal. Would we be allowed to complain if the Pats had gone 4-30, 2-32 or 0-34 the last two years or would that still be behavior worth criticizing in your eyes? The "Patriots can do no wrong" crowd is absolutely insufferable.
