2025 Draft: CBs

saw @manxman2601 select him in his latest mock so I had to look him up....

At his his size and 4.55 40 speed he might be relegated to Nickel packages, but he has a real potential for a role in special teams.

CB Alijah Huzzie, North Carolina

Vrabel has talked about getting bigger at the nickel position which is why I mocked him. He was a big winner in Shrine game practices.

PF Network has him at #201 (I think). Bottom of 6th.

There will be guys projected to go as early as round 3 that will go undrafted. Trust me happens every year.
I think his size/speed/production will get him drafted.

He will likely need to improve on this 40 time: 4.53 to be considered a starting CB but he would be a great addition on 3rd and long situations.

I'm thinking that a switch to FS in the pros would be good.

OH. Don't get hung up on the 4.53 - 40. Plenty of good corners have 4.53 speed

I really wish the league would come done harder on players who don't participate in the different tests like 3-cone and short shuttle.

This is why I love Cobee Bryant. Hard to find a more competitive guy in this draft.

I don't think we'll be able to get him in the 7th round in real life.
Have faith. I thought I could get cute and double dip at CB in mid 6th

Another that might have to get a 2nd look...Jalen Kimber showed out on his pro day.

Fun note on Darien Porter from Iowa State, I know he’s been brought up here as a binky in the past:

our old friend Hank Poteat played a large role in his development from moving from WR to CB. He’s been Iowa State’s CB coach the last two seasons. Doing a hell of a job over there.
