Site News New Forum Layout Now Available (Report any Bugs Here)

Is there an option to remove the big box at the top (latest local headlines, current popular discussions, etc) so that scrolling down to see the top posts isn't necessary?
For the people who have donated, the box to move it down to the bottom is now located here on the slideout menu:

For everyone else, the "top posts/most reacted blocks" will be moving to the bottom on mobile as it had previously to cut that block in half. So hang with me for a bit there until I get that done.

Love the new ignore button under the thread, hated having to open click ignore and then go back. Lotsa stuff I have zero interest in, so getting it off page1 is what I do.

background color is too… white

So are we gonna get this running commercial ad on every page every time we refresh?

It was a good run.

No - put the ad code back in and didn't put the "!" symbol for registered/logged in users. They shouldn't be appearing now if you're logged in.

It's not that I care but when on mobile it takes up half my screen and blocks what I'm trying to look at.

I'll let you know if I see it pop up again.

I use my iPhone and not to be a fly in the soup, but i liked the way it was much better.

- have ads pop up when I scroll which I didn’t use to.
-. There’s a big bar across the screen for pinned posts, which I cant get rid of. (Unpin and hide aren’t working).

- I clicked on a draft thread that said it was unavailable and gave an error

- The dark blue used for some of the names almost makes them unreadable. Your name Ian was tough to read. The light blue names are fine.

The ads should be gone - that was a thing earlier but it's been corrected. If those are still appearing, definitely let me know as they absolutely should not be.

I hear you on the colors, and I'm still going through and fixing some of those that I couldn't really see prior to seeing it here. But I'm making progress and will definitely get it corrected.

The pinned post thing shouldn't be appearing across the screen. I have an iPhone as well, and those should be at the bottom because they wrap underneath on mobile. That might have been broken a bit ago when I was messing with it earlier, but it should be working now.

I haven't noticed anything in the log for broken links. But I just found something in the error log that has been corrected, so I'm wondering if maybe that was it? So take a look and let me know.

Fixed the issue with your username

New look is great, but new layouts don't win football games. Got a lot of work to do

Thanks for the ignore button!!!! I hated to have to open a thread I had no interest in order to ignore it.
Yeah, that was something that a few others had mentioned as well, so it was on my list of things to add when I was putting this together. Have to move those buttons a bit on mobile, but it's nice to have this finally up and running.

Also, if you hit the "Mute" button, there's a new effect when you mute somebody in a thread that I added.

I like it, much easier to read, haven't tried the other features yet but I'm sure it'll be good. Thanks Ian.
