No on Golden and Bond. Neither have ever broken 1000 yards in a season. Just because Golden had two great games in his entire college career does not mean he is worthy of a 1st round pick like he is being portrayed. He is highly inconsistent. Just look at his stats. I know people were shocked by his 40 time, but a 40 time does not a receiver make. Bond is a 3-4 round pick and another Tyquan or Bethel Johnson. He has never had a 700 yard season. The infatuation with speed rockets guys up the board, but typically does not translate in the NFL. Its like everyone with speed is assumed to be the next Tyreek Hill. Its just not true. I suspect both Bond and Golden will be average at best in the NFL.
No......there is another.
I guess a lot of the folks who rank where they will fall in the draft would disagree with you as do I. Time will tell how they turn out.No on Golden and Bond. Here is your guy. Same height(6'0) as Diggs (4.46)but with a faster 40 time (4.29). In fact I think he had the fastest 40 time in the combine. Good hands, can play in the middle of the field or down the sidelines.
Of course. No one has a crystal ball that tells them who will succeed. The draft pundits actually have a horrible success in predicting prospects. Its all guesswork.I guess a lot of the folks who rank where they will fall in the draft would disagree with you as do I. Time will tell how they turn out.
"Horrible success" is a bit unfair. Depends on how high you set the bar. The pundits are usually accurate as far as what range a guy will go. It is guesswork in the end but you get a pretty good reference.Of course. No one has a crystal ball that tells them who will succeed. Same, he is probably the WR I am most surprised about being still available. Give me Allen and a 1st round rookie at WR (after a trade down, not at 4) and I'm okay with thatI'd take a flier on Keenan for a year.
Called it. Oh well, we move on.I still think Kupp is our best option (until he inevitably signs with Seattle).
Overpay. So.much for a hometown discount lolKupp signed wit Seattle. 3 yrs, 45M.
