There’s no player in this draft NE could take at 38 that will have anything close to the impact DK would’ve made.

I don't know why people feel some kind of way about what I'm saying. I'm not mad at them for not getting DK.

But you have to ask the tough questions. If not DK, Deebo, Higgins, Adams then who?

They're gonna have to overpay for Godwin. Even that might not be enough.

No chance. He’s coming off a breakout season of 1,062 yards and 8 touchdowns despite having only 69 touches in 15 games. He’s got a 1st round pedigree, he’s got truly elite speed, he’s on a Super Bowl contending team, on his 4th year of his rookie deal with the 5th year option a lock to be picked up by next month. And he’s still young, turning 24 later this month. So you’re talking another two years before he’s set to score on his next big contract, and that’s not counting the chance of a franchise tag in 2027. And it’s more likely the Lions extend him before it gets to that point.
