I don’t like to be negative, I try to be positive when it comes to being a fan, but I really don’t get a warm fuzzy feeling that the Pats brain trust can attract anyone of importance. It’s gonna be a ****ty FA period. They will have to try to build through the draft. Maybe next season we’ll have the most cap space again, and have a better record in 2025, but I’d be shocked if they spend even half their cap space this year.

That being said, Washington didn’t go hog wild in FA last offseason, and improved tremendously. But I expect tomorrow to be a VERY quiet day for the Pats.

At some point y'all gonna stop making excuses as to why the Patriots haven't addressed their WR problem.

In a different thread 20 minutes before this news broke someone came at me because I said this team can't even land a middling talent like Adams "bUT hE saID he wOULd OnLy Play oUT wEsT"

It's literally excuse after excuse.

Until Vrabel puts together a team that's different than how the last two coaches addressed the issue then he will be held to the same standard.

Every year for like 6 seasons this fanbase has cried about the WR position all regular season then once FA and the draft came we had excuse after excuse for why we should focus on something else, or why a WR is an overspend or why we shouldn't use a good draft pick on one.

I kinda don't care anymore. People will whine all next year when WR's don't get open and Maye throws a dime that gets dropped. But hey we'll reach on a tackle with short arms who will end up playing guard.

How about we actually let this play out given he is the new coach. Also given the fact he has had some success building a team, and he was apart of drafting A.J. Brown....a wide out the pats havent been able to do

Just because you might be able to get a guy does not mean you should get the guy.

I am very much on the side of if the Pats want a guy enough they could him. I for one am glad they did not make a move for Thuney, Jonah Jackson or DK. Not sure why you feel like they could swing the trade? Our 2nd is not the same as Pittsburghs 2nd.
