Income tax in KC is 6% on all income, whereas MA is 5% on the first $1m and 9% on the rest. It's taken only on the games played at home (half the salary). If we were offering $28m, MA tax on $14m would be $1,240,000, and KC tax on $14m would be $840,000, so the diff is $600k.

If comparing to Baltimore, their tax is actually a little higher than MA when you include the local income tax. Mass tax even with the millionaire's tax is still middle of the pack and only significant when comparing to an income tax free state like FL.

Offer him 35m per year and I think Metcalf's worries go away with all that GREEN. Let's say 4/140m offer?

Godwin would be better than Calvin Ridley. I mean if the person isn’t a clear cut superstar #1 WR does everyone just want them to pass and keep running Pop out there as a 1 because he has heart? Getting a little worn out by the whole warm weather insistence. Makes him seem pretty soft. What's more important, winning or weather? Even in NE, it's warm enough until October, you only have to deal with the cold in November, December, and if you actually make the playoffs, January. Then you get to jet home to the south or wherever in February until camp starts. Can't handle 2-3 months of the cold a year for a few years?
