NFL News OT: When the Chiefs thought they had found their replacement for Tyreek this isn't what they meant

Not sure what you mean, especially the title of your thread. This is literally par for the course, for the Chiefs.

They aren't going to bat an eyelid.
Agreed. KC loves this stuff. As does the league : they are always promoting the captain, T Hill !

par for the course.... and you can throw in andy reid's son, lamar hunt jr., tyreek hill, rashee rice, jovan belcher and you have a totally dystopian and corrupt organization.

His lawyer's statement reads like it may be a similar situation to Jabrill Peppers rather than the standard KC entitlement scenario

I'll hold off passing judgement on Worthy. tyREEK remains the definition of entitled NFL scum. Abused his kid, menaced his old lady and STILL got himself a huge ass raise while continuing to piss on LEO's at every opportunity. Let's hope we all live long enough to be around when the karma bus comes by for him

Boss it’s Xavier on the phone he choked out another prostitute he was caught this time he needs your legal advice.

Um strangling his fiancee (or whoever) isn't what I would call a "mistake."

I don't know what it is about WR1s that makes them divas or worse.
I agree 100%. As far as I know Worthy has never been in any trouble. My point was he's pretty young. Hopefully he will get therapy and learn this isn't the way to behave, ever. Make no mistake, I'm not saying this is ever OK.

They'll bat an eyelid if he gets suspended. Rice has some legal trouble of his own.

The Chiefs are no longer an automatic SB champion every year, and they showed last season they needed a ton of luck to win close games. It's unlikely they'll have that kind of luck again in the upcoming slate. They can't afford to be without these guys.

As for the thread title, they both have crazy speed and the ability to make a huge play from anywhere on the field, and both (now) have had their issues with the law. The title seems pretty self-explanatory to me.

no charges against Worthy so it was a nothing burgher

Nothing to see here folks, just move along

Per Williamson County district attorney and Chiefs season ticket holder Shawn **** no charges will be filed at this time

Worthy needs to check his privilege

We dodged a bullet by not drafting Worthy. Or maybe we can say the Chiefs caught the bullet for us?
If you say so. Like I said the guy has never been in trouble as far as I know. I would love to have a player like him on the roster.

I think more about how many felonies are being covered up by the Hunt family.
I’m sure the first point in company counseling was…..

“Texas, TEXAS, what the heck were you doing there ? If you gonna go sideways do it in Kansas where we own the cops & the courts. “
