Shrug on Jackson...so, those three are fine with me.

Thuney, though...an exemplary player and locker-room guy by every report. Stellar football IQ. Still a top left guard. Anyone the Pats wind up putting at LT would have been far bettor off with him there.

They should not have let this one slip, in my opinion. A 2026 fourth is no big deal and they can afford the money - make it 2 years and add some guarantees. I don't think Thuney would have minded ending his career back in New England.

This is a miss. A big one.

I agree with you, but I think Teven Jenkins at 12-13 AAV is and it will be a lower cap hit year 1. Funny enough, Lance Zerlein compared him to Thuney in 2021 draft

As long as we take care of more urgent needs that’s fine but other things are bigger priorities.
