Aiyuk on 1 leg is better than anything the Patriots have, this team absolutely blows and isn't a destination why would anyone turn their nose up at Aiyuk?

He had 2300 yards and 15 TDs in 22/23 seasons why should one injury in his mid 20s suddenly derail his career?

That used to be a problem, but now it's swung the other way. Patriots fans in 2019-2021 used to pretend they were Bill Belichick and want value deals and say "nah that's an overpay". Now Patriots fans have swung on the other side of the pendulum and ant a huge overpay for everyone who sniffs the market.

People saw Thuney's contract with the Chiefs way back when and were like "nah had to move on, way too much". Now they see a Thuney in decline who is going to be 33 and want to give him the bag.

Agreed. I keep saying we should be considering everything and at pretty much any position.

It obviously isn't a good long term approach but we need to burn through some of this cash and add talent like a fantasy team. Once we are relevant again we can start getting back to wiser more frugal ways and a more long-term approach. Until then buy buy buy.
