Then, if Stanley stays healthy for at least 2 full seasons, we'd have that long to draft his replacement. That's doable. What if they sign Ronnie Stanley?

Agreed. Or draft a developmental guy this year. Then, if Stanley stays healthy for at least 2 full seasons, we'd have that long to draft his replacement. That's doable.
Sure. But, not before grabbing Higgins or a similar impact WR first.Agreed. Or draft a developmental guy this year.
I think a trade back has always been #1. It'd be great to choose from many of the same options from 6-12 with extra picks in tow.
I fully expected Campbell to have 33 inch arms.
This certainly muddies the water. I think I'm leaning towards a trade back at this point.
As it stands now who do you want with 4He is the Best Guard Prospect
I want Abdul CarterAs it stands now who do you want with 4
If we can move down a bit. Who then
Despite the clear need, I could not, in good conscience draft even a HOF LG at #4 (And don't give me the Hannah stuff. Loved Hannah, but he's not what we need right now). Trade back. More picks. Make the right picks. Add solid talent (which includes after the 1st Round-Jayden Higgins, 1 or 2 solid RB's, DL and Edge). Stanley for a couple or 3 years at LT. And Milton, Baun, and Sweat from the Eagles, and whatever other FA additions we can get that are hopefully still on the young side and can build a winning culture.I want Abdul Carter
But realistically I will take Graham.
In a trade down scenario I want Simmons.
Does that prevent him being an all-pro guard though? I think the Campbell LT game is over but Campbell tested very well and his film does support the idea that he could be a terrific guard.
Campbell is a guard…we know that now. I’m not sure I am ok with the measurables of some of the top Defensive prospects. You'll take a guy that has an injury he may not recover from, because his arms are 3/8 of an inch longer?
I'm a big Simmons fan. But some of you go way too overboard based on some of these measurements.
Simmons may never play at his previous level again(which was only a portion of one season), and you'll take that over a guy who could be an all pro guard?
I believe that's where he needs to play to be successful in the Pros with those measurements.Campbell has a very good skill-set and body type for Guard.

Some of the DL like Tyliek Williams and Alfred Collins actually do have the desired size for a DL, and they could be taken outside of the 1st Round (It's a deep DT Class with some potential studs perhaps even as far down as the 5th Round).Campbell is a guard…we know that now. True and it's my only reservation for taking Graham at 4. But Mason has always been the consensus DT1 and I don't think the measurables change that for me. He can easily put the weight back on.Some of the DL like Tyliek Williams and Alfred Collins actually do have the desired size for a DL, and they could be taken outside of the 1st Round (It's a deep DT Class with some potential studs perhaps even as far down as the 5th Round).
Which is my preferred approach, get both Ozzy Trapilo and Charles Grant. Im willing to bet Grant will be the best LT of the bunch. Get 2 developmental guys for both tackle spots to run behind 2 vets in FA.Agreed. Or draft a developmental guy this year.
Yup. Shortest wingspan of any OT at the combine since 2011. And I say that as a Campbell booster.
Easier said than done. Got more than 2 for a "get both" list?Which is my preferred approach, get both Ozzy Trapilo and Charles Grant. Im willing to bet Grant will be the best LT of the bunch. Get 2 developmental guys for both tackle spots to run behind 2 vets in FA.
