Gronk coming back to the NFL to be a Bronco?

Ok now it’s picking up steam from other media sources.

Why would he give up the income he has with his mobility allowing him to have a comfortable life. To risk it all on a gamble that his back will not be injured and require another surgery or even worse an injury that will cause constant pain for the rest of his life.

Maybe his contract is coming due w/ FOX and hes trying to create leverage?

Either way....he'll be 36 come start of OTAs/TC.

If he is serious he is bat-**** crazy.

The media gigs will be there when he leaves again, his time in Tampa proved that people like having Gronk in the media.

There's no real inherit risk that he didn't deal with his entire career. He probably feels refreshed again after some time off and now feels like he can make another short stint.

It's also Gronk, dude isn't exactly someone I would call risk averse

I wish him the best, but I think it is a bad idea. He is a lot lighter than he used to be. And he is going to be 36 years old next season. I wouldn't expect much from him.

Broncos is crazy, I was thinking Bills, Eagles, Chiefs, Commanders, Patriots:

Seeing him with Sam Elliot, he’s well below his playing weight.

Broncos kinda make sense. He's not coming here. He's not doing a 1 or 2 year run for a rebuilding team to not make the playoffs.

Eagles/Chiefs/Bills are top tier contenders, they aren't going to be pulling any stunt casting moves when they are locked in.

Broncos and Commanders who are teams that look promising and on the cusp might take a risk and be attractive to Gronk. Also he'll play in at least 2 high profile games against the Chiefs and get to show up Kelce

my only thought is he wants to wipe the floor with Kelces stats.

Ahhh Broncos memories.

Who was the Broncos DB who targeted Gronk’s knees and injured him?

TJ Ward

Lol Kelce is far and ahead in stats other than Touchdowns
Maybe he just wants to play again feeling refreshed after 2 years off

Gronk, like Brady, is not that good on Fox either, but hes living in the was.

Love Gronk BUT
He is an attention whore

TJ Ward

TJ Ward, that’s it.

Imagine what Gronk could have accomplished if players didn’t have to cheapshot him because they couldn’t tackle him properly.

Was it Earl Thomas who took Gronk down on an open field tackle, and even cracked his ribs?

Why couldn’t more players do it the right way?

Not just the opposing players, Gronk played balls to the wall every snap no regard for his safety

Honestly, I could see Gronk watching Travis Kelce getting praised as "the greatest TE of all time" while being a glorified slot receiver who can't block to save his life and thinking "well ****, I could do that..."

Unretire, go play for an innovative guy like Payton who will use him more like a slot receiver/move TE with less blocking. Young accurate QB in Nix. Get his name back out there at the same time Kelce is looking washed up. Play the Chiefs directly 2x a year.

Gronk wasn't good at his current job he was the worse of the group.
