Eh. Not worth it, man. Get married and have a kid or go be a coach. This is just "I have a void and I'm trying to fill it" speak.

Gronk wasn't good at his current job he was the worse of the group.

I'm 99% confident that his lil podcast with Julian was almost purely out of a want to develop his commentating skills.

It just isn't his thing! I feel like he could do movie cameos no problem, and still cultivate some level of fulfillment personally outside of that. But commentating is a very specific skill, tbh Julian isn't even that great interviewing but looks like a pro next to Gronk.

the donks?

seriously? like **** that guy

TJ Ward, that’s it.

Imagine what Gronk could have accomplished if players didn’t have to cheapshot him because they couldn’t tackle him properly.

Was it Earl Thomas who took Gronk down on an open field tackle, and even cracked his ribs?

Why couldn’t more players do it the right way?
It was TJ Ward, but if I recall correctly it was with the Browns in 2013. He signed with DEN the following year.

The Gronkos

I will have to see this to believe it. Gronk enjoys attention.

He hasn’t played in a couple of years and football off season is starting to get into full swing. I bet mentally and physically he’s feeling pretty good.

Once he starts getting hit, and getting hurt he’d probably feel different

Am I the only one on here that believes that when it comes to being a true TE, Kelce isn't worthy enough to carry Gronk's Jock Strap?
Kelce has never seen a tough block he was capable of making. Can't touch Gronk in doing total TE job.

They did not play the same position.

Anyone who says Kelce played an in-line TE does not know football.

Maybe his contract is coming due w/ FOX and hes trying to create leverage?

Either way....he'll be 36 come start of OTAs/TC.

If he is serious he is bat-**** crazy.
he doesn't belong on Fox either. They already have way too many people on the desk and he really doesn't offer anything of substance

Nobody on that panel is remotely as bad as Terry Bradshaw.

That guy is so incompetent he has become a complete embarassment, and should have been replaced years and years ago.

Every time I see a former pro player try to make a comeback, it makes me think of what Michael Jordan said about retirement: "If I could, I would give away everything just to go back and play one game in my prime."

Yesh. That's why he tried to play baseball when he got suspended from the NBA (bc gambling). He is a competitor to the core of his being.

Let's play O/U for how many games Gronk would play before a season ending injury.

The number I'll throw out is 2.5.

I really hope this is just for attention. Nothing good will come of it. He has nothing more to prove.

It was. I was at the game with my son. As soon as I saw the hit I looked at my son and said "he's done." And to top it off we left the game with the Pats down two TDs with about a minute left and heard the Pats win while we were walking to the car. They were great seats too.

Ward made the hit in the game against Cleveland, which was the one that ended his 2013 season. The one in Denver in 2015 was by Darian Stewart, which turned out to be a bone bruise to his knee, and he obviously dodged a major bullet. You could see he was obviously frightened after the play that he suffered yet another significant knee injury, especially after working so hard to come back from the other one. That one obviously shook him, and it also led to him and his family releasing that statement when it came to the timetable for his return, etc.

Definitely a crazy moment, and he got really lucky it wasn't worse. If I were him, I don't know if I'd want to come back. He's got nothing left to prove.
