I traded back twice. Took a flier on Walker at 77. I know a couple of you don't love him, but he was BPA at that point.

25. Josh Simmons LT Ohio State - the trade-downs were too good to refuse.
38. Colston Loveland TE Michigan - not usually the position I look for here, but he was the BPA by a wide-enough margin that I pulled the trigger for a dynamic playmaker.
55. Derrick Harmon DT Oregon - not the type of DT we need, but he was so far ahead of everybody else that it would defeat part of the purpose of trading-down; so I took him with the understanding that I'd have to find me a 0/1-tech later...
69. Azareye'h Thomas CB Florida State - the value at a secondary (no pun intended) position of need was too good to overlook.
77. Jalen Royals WR Utah State
84. Cam Skattebo RB Arizona State
105. Lathan Ransom S Ohio State - there should already be some familiarity with what Vrabel's trying to do here.

I can't believe that Ozzy's rising this quickly; I just don't see it... I ass-ume that Greene & Belton were already taken?

We need to have the 3rd-Down Back return to the Razor, so I'm not a fan of a bruiser like Martinez at 145.

Never heard of Oliver or Arian Smith; gonna have to do some research on them now...

I agree with you about the 3rd down back, but was less than impressed with Rham's ball security this year. Hopefully he improves in that area.

Oliver is more of a situational pass rusher much like Uche was....Arian Smith has loads of speed and talent, but had a case of the dropsies at the worst times hoping he can put it together, maybe after some time on the practice squad.

Denzel Burke used to be my go to as a CB and then I was watching some film (wish I could remember who) and he got burned deep on two plays in the game. Wasn't so keen after that.

I really wish some drafting site would put together a mock draft where there is a lobby you wait in. Once all teams have been chosen by a person, the draft would commence. It would allow for much more accurate mock draft standings and outcomes. Actual fans picking players they believe the team would be interested in real life, or need and are good fits in said teams system. I’d gladly wait extended times in a lobby for the chance to have a mock with real people whom are fans of the team.

I think it was the Oregon game but I hadn't watched Tez at that point. I think it was Conerly I was watching.

Back in the day we did do a mock draft game where everyone chose a team they were responsible for selecting for but it became too hard because people have lives and we didn't have enough people posting in a timely manner. That and everyone wants to draft for the Pats of course. We did try to leave the Pats picks up for a vote which I thought was the fairest way to do it. If we have enough people interested we could try again? Maybe assign multiple teams to each of us if need be? I'm going away later this week, but when I get back we can consider maybe a 3 round mock.
