First Meaningless 2025 Mock

I'm ass-uming that the Worst Case Scenario happened: The 2 QBs & Carter were taken 1-2-3... I'm still not staying at #4 just for Graham, however, sorry...
Matt Miller only has 12 first round grades this year. Be careful about how far you want to trade down.

Funny I probably have even less...

Carter
Hunter

Then it's a drop off...

Graham
Mike Green
Starks

Another drop off...

Simmons(pending health checks)
Membou
Campbell
Tyler Warren
Loveland
Mykell Williams

So yeah 11 lol

He could be our new 3rd-Down Back in the mold of KFaulk, Sheriff Woody, Sugar Shane, Dion Lewis & Sweet Feet... McD has seen a lot of Henderson this past year, so he should know exactly how he can help us...
Henderson could be an elite 3rd down RB, because he's not just a one trick pony (receiving back only), he's also a true between the tackles RB as well who shouldn't be required to be a 1st and 2nd down workhorse (but can be in an emergency).

The Quint and Logan Brown. For that reason alone it's a winner

Denzel Burke used to be my go to as a CB and then I was watching some film (wish I could remember who) and he got burned deep on two plays in the game. Wasn't so keen after that.
Was it Evan Stewart maybe? That is the game that turned me off of him.

I tried a little a experiment...

With draft 1 I kept it simple this time. No trade downs but I really would think we almost have to trade back to add some picks between 145-219. So with draft 2 I did just that and this time I missed out on Ersery but I got Green to fall to mem But look at the depth pieces that could be had later.

I'd rather have either Raheim Sanders or Ollie Gordon II in the RB Department.

I think I was watching Conerly. Burke gave up 2 TDs in that game including a long of 69 and 168 yards in total. Although, looking at his season stats, that was his only bad game. The most yardage he gave up in any other game was 36 yards and gave up no other TDs in any other game so I think I'm being harsh.

Traded down, and with the top tackles off the board I went with M. Golden. Felt good about this one as there’s some good potential starters

It's a very good mock but I think the values of Green, Campbell, Conerly and probably Henderson will end up being quite a bit off. Good picks though.

I invariably trade down in the 2nd and sometimes in the 3rd to snag my extra picks in that range.

I probably am as well but the first impression is hard to erase. Evan Stewart is a pretty good WR with speed so it was probably player type is a problem. But that 1st impression. ugh

I am guilty, more than anyone, of over-thinking the draft, so here's my 'don't overthink it mock':

Assumptions:

1. Carter and Hunter are off the board
2. We've signed Ronnie Stanley
3. Based upon Dane Brugler's top 100

4. Mason Graham
38. Jack Sawyer
69. Tre Harris
77. Omar Norman-Lott

Elite DT
Perfect compliment to Vrabel's culture change
Analytically, the best WR in the draft
The best interior rusher in the draft.

I am hardly going to allow you to overtake my self proclaimed over thinker on the draft title.

So are these guys you want them to draft or are you trying to get in Vrabs head?

I suppose I was coming up with a common-sense BPA mock. I would be very happy with that, particularly if we picked up a sub-rusher like Swinson too and if Vrabs read that post and thought 'I hadn't thought of that, let's do it', that would be cool too.

I'm mostly fixated on the idea of Vrabs selecting Sawyer with his Ohio State connection. I don't imagine he would let that play a role in his thinking lol but it's hard not to think it especially given the that particular position which he once played.
