First Meaningless 2025 Mock

Hopefully we won't be drafting at 4 again, we need to take advantage and get actual talent.
Yeah and if we stick and pick it has to be BPA

16 picks?!? I LOVE it!

I'm telling y'all, trading-down from #4 is THE best way to improve this club's youthful - and inexpensive - talent base. Fuhgeddabout Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter; there's more fish in those seas!
Well remember it takes two

NFL Draft 2025: How many picks do teams own? Jaguars lead the way, Bears have heavy capital

Pre-Stupor Bowl mock, because I won't be around for the next couple or so daze, depending on how deep my post-game (which I will NOT be watching, btw) depression runs:

Which I tried to replicate lol granted I cheated knowing that PFN has Darius ranked so low but they also have Pierce rated a lot higher than where he took him so it balances out. I only missed on Bowman and that random WR that is likely a UDFA but I was able to add some solid picks in addition to the rest of his.

69 seems too early for Pierce, depending on who else was still available...I've been recently taking longer looks at later Day-3 RBs such as Neal & RJ Harvey (who maybe could knock some sense into his former UCF teammate half-Baked)... Saivion Jones is great value at 216 and an excellent compliment to Green at 23; doubt he'll be there when the draft actually starts though... Trading-down and collecting multiple Day-2 picks for both this year and next year is The Way.

A post-SB Satisfaction mock; and because I'm in a better mood than I thought I would be in today, I tried one on Mock Draft Database itself, using theirs & Draft Buzz' big boards for tie-breakers & fact-checking... I traded only with teams who had first made offers to me, even if I initially rejected them:

And the usual anal rape on PFN... I like rape:

Harvey's a difficult one for me. I can see the upside - he's electric in space but he seems to bounce everything to the outside. He's not a workhorse back but he's also a pretty awful pass blocker.

I mainly wanted to rebuild the Lines, if that wasn’t apparent. A couple of bigger and intriguing corners late in the draft, as we have only two under contract after next season, and a sturdy LB at the very end.

I actually really like this one, but sadly Alexander probably will be long gone by then unless is age is a bigger think than I think it will be.

The FA and draft should allow us to fix the OL for years to come with Simmons-Jackson-Some Center-Rutledge-Wallace or some other RT. I tried to get Drake protection and weapons and then tried to pick defensive players that I feel fit more with Vrabel/Williams scheme. I was tempted to take Jalen Royals instead of Henderson at pick 69. I do this because I am a nerd, if you don't like it move along nothing to see here.

I got ACL/MCL, and meniscus surgery 3 days ago. Really bored in bed at this point. These Percocets sure are some good stuff lol. Got me doing **** like this.

Heres my proposal to the Jets who just broke news they won’t be having AR12 back for 2025. In this mock, the Jets trade up with us to number 4, to select QB Cam Ward.

We receive WR Garret Wilson (I used a 2026 2nd to replicate the capital). Pick #7 and pick number 42. The jets receive #4 and WR Kendrick Bourne.

I then traded back again to acquire more draft capital both this year and in 2026. Eventually ending up with two additional 2nds in next years draft. I would then use one, or two of those draft picks to trade for a wr1. (Brown, Kupp, DK, Deeboo, Lamb)

I then used the pick to draft these players. One can only dream of doing this to the Jets. Haha Wolf would get a statue for this.

Your new WR room
WR#1-2 Metcalf (or any of those proposed WR’s)
WR#1-2 Wilson
WR#3 Boutee
WR#4 Douglas
WR#5 Bech

Inject this mock straight into my veins. That's six future starters drafted right there. My only criticisms are that our first overall pick won't be starting year one as his injury likely has a 12 month recovery time and no upgrade on Boutte as WR2. I like Royals, but would take Henderson over him as you did.

Really like most of the picks here although I'm not sure about Deone Walker but the Ohio State haul is a cracker.

I think Booty will be a good #2 WR and I was willing to wait on the 1st round pick because of Stanley. If there are no setbacks in recovery he should be ready to practice in Apr-May(I think he had a Patellar Tendon repair).
