I usually do the same thing go on a week day once a summer with either JT Farnham or Woodman's.
Yes, great move! It's just so jammed up everywhere as seafood is such a sought after delicatessen.

My wife always asks me when we’re going to Boston again, purely because of the food.
Yup Boston is underrated for food. Seafood is top notch. But even Italian food in the North End is some of the best you'll find. And I know New Yorkers are up their own ass about pizza, but Regina and Santarpios can compete with any of them.

The area Boston lacks most imo is Mexican and BBQ.

The Cape is typically more of a week long vacation.

And just finding a spot on the south shore somewhere is the easiest bet and plenty of places with seafood just as good.
Yes, cape I used to visit Martha's vineyard alot as a kid.. family had a timeshare down there. Once the billionaires started to buy up all the property the restaurants prices sky rocketed.. I'm like u find a spot in the south shore somewhere enjoyable.

Finding a good Jewish Deli these days isn't quite the same anymore lol.

Seafood spots everywhere. But finding some good corned beef or Pastrami not quite as easy. My go to is Fressers in Randolph. It seems like all my other favorites have closed.

Been to Fressers a few times...good place. I worked in Randolph for 10 years.

A childhood friend of mine owns his own catering company and he's got the best BBQ I've ever had. The guy is an absolute master at his craft. (The Patriots actually just hired him to feed the team once this year)

And coincidentally enough when he's not catering he also works at a very good Mexican restaurant called locales in Hingham Tacos And Tequila | Localés Tacos y Tequila | Hingham

I'd take him back but I could see him playing a similar role to KVN in Baltimore
The way he left, he has mayo stains on him. I think it would be better to go elsewhere to fill the role.

I’m in

Grossman's data center was in Randoph, HQ was in Braintree.

Used to frequent the Friendly's in Randolph... I miss it!
Can't talk Randolph food without proclaiming Lynwood's the best bar pizza in the world.

True story El Prez started the pizza reviews because of an argument with another friend of mine (Salesguy) over Lynwood's.

Is that the spot on rt. 28 in Randolph?? I think I been there before...

Man I was about to post about Jake's. A few years back we stayed in Hull and took the short ferry ride into Boston for a few days. We went to Jake's up the road from the hotel daily and my wife was in love with it. I'm not a local but we both thought it was really good, not too ritzy and not expensive either.

My wife got pregnant on that stay, lmao
