I want a RB from this Very Strony Class...I see Six RB's there already better than Fumble Rham.
Clearly Rham was the recipient of ****ty coaching.

From 2021-2023....620 touches....fumbled every 89 touches...excellent

Last year...240 touches...fumbled every 8 touches. Brutal.

Some players need to be harped on. He is one of them.

“He’s a great teacher, and he’s worked in multiple schemes,” Vrabel said after promoting him in 2023. “It was probably one of the best interviews I’ve had in five years. I am extremely happy and excited to give him this opportunity.”

The Patriots offensive staff is going from rejects and guys no one wants to an almost dream team this year.

Adding Brown tells me that Josh is changing his system to be more WCO friendly.
I am guessing Josh probably studied up on this during his year off already, and having Brown there to bounce things off of and help make it work smoothly is likely very helpful. They might run some bootleg/rollout type stuff even though Josh really never ran that with Brady/Mac.

I don’t know how to blame coaches for Fumbling, but I guess it’s possible.
I’d like to see a more explosive back anyway:

Trent Baalke has always been a coattail rider. Peterson lost his creative juices just like he did in Philly and his messaging got stale.

Then you have the silver-spooned, analytics son who has heavy influence over the draft and game day decisions who also has never played football.

The only time that organization was respectable was when Tom Coughlin was running it

The Mac Jones karma was a thing of beauty. He mocked the patriots for trading him to them for a 6th, then watched his job disappear with Mac’s lethal ineptitude.

Clearly the player deserves blame because they are the ones fumbling but coaching is a big part of it. Technique, emphasis, drills, concentration...

Not starting someone doesn't fix the issue if the player needs more coaching.

I remember him commenting about needing to work the "Patriots" stuff out of him, as if his association with NE was malignant. How'd that work out for ya, Doug?

I agree that there's only so much you can teach in terms of ball security. I do think, however, that temporary benching can help in some instances. But, the effectiveness varies accordingly to how much the carrier is bothered by being benched.

Wow we're making the Playoffs next year we have a sick staff in a good way: no wonder Mayo is suing.

This is shaping up to be an experienced, accomplished coaching staff. Almost everyone hired will be in a coaching position at their highest level of competence. I’m really impressed at what Vrabel is assembling.

Now they need players.

Vrabel really learned his lesson he remembered how the GOAT HC did it: when he was a player. It's starts from the Top.

More important than playcalling.

Do we even need a WR Coach?? Those guys have been stealing money from us...let the WR's Coach themselves: it can't get any worse.

Of course they do. You'll be the first guy throwing rocks at them for not hiring enough coaches.

Stevenson had 7 fumbles total in 499 carries in his 1st 3 season. That's not a big reflection on ball security issues. He obviously knows how to take care of the ball. It's hard to be explosive when the OL is a dud.

- McDaniels: probably not ever leaving for another HC opportunity
- Brown: has had some OC chances that didn't work, so will likely stick as a position coach for a little while
- Marrone: seems to be content working specifically in the trenches at this point in his life, doesn't seem like a flight risk

Several guys with reasons why they probably won't leave anytime soon. Good for Maye and the other young guys. WR coach is still an unknown.

Hope Marrone turns into the next Scar.
