I do too. Though McAdoo had some nebulous job title anyway, so they may keep him around.I tend to believe they are gone.
Until we hear otherwise hold on to hope for some stability for Maye.I tend to believe they are gone.
I think if the role has anything to do with the QB, Josh will want his own people.I do too. Though McAdoo had some nebulous job title anyway, so they may keep him around.
I don't think they've officially "fired" them but we would not necessarily know. Technically the team has never said that AVP or Covington were fired, yet they just hired McDaniels and Williams to do the jobs that those guys held, so they must be fired.No word on McAdoo or AVP?
I'd be fine with the New England Buckeyes this year.Lmao Rutgers baby.
Let’s see what else we have up our sleeve;
Right, but I think there were reports that he was good at evaluating all kinds of offensive player prospects, so he might be kept on in some other role.I think if the role has anything to do with the QB, Josh will want his own people.
Maybe Edelman would consider getting into coaching.Maybe we can do better but I hope Welker is a consideration for WR coach. Maybe he is the best available?
Edit: I haven't heard of him interviewing anywhere.
OLine coach will be tellingI think if the role has anything to do with the QB, Josh will want his own people.
Yep. That o-line coach is going to need to know the EP offense, calls, protections, etc.OLine coach will be telling
My guess is will need Josh’s approval
If that coach is on another team
That is when I think pass or run game coordinator title comes in to make it seem like a promotion of sorts
Maybe but Welker has been a coach in the NFL since 2017 and WR coach since 2019. I think there is value with having that experience.Maybe Edelman would consider getting into coaching.
Edelman had to work hard to get to what he became ( a HOFer IMO). Some extremely gifted players for who it comes easy, don’t make the best teachers because they don’t understand the struggle.
I agree. JMD must have really made Vrable a believer in what he plans to do with the offense. I don't believe he hired Josh as a favor to Kraft, Josh convinced him during the interview that he was the guy to run the offense.It’s pretty clear from the Dews hire that Vrabel is making the final decision on coaching hires.

First of all, any new HC brings in assistants he knows. That's what Vrabel's clearly doing. If that happens to intersect with a former OC under Belichick, that's somehow a problem? Let alone that said OC has 3 rings and 6 SB appearances? There's no OC candidate out there with the credentials of McDaniels, a perfect fit who's only 48 and has HC experience as well. This absurd mantra that anyone/anything connected to BB must suck is ********.Stop trying to re-live the old patriot way. Brady is gone. Become innovative, adapt and move on.
