Absolutely agree. Boutte will have in my opinion a Jabar gaffney type role and impact in the offense. Also really like the Terrell Williams hire.. guys a veteran coach.. and the Titans players raved about him... especially Justin Simmons... feels like the possibility of getting Simmons becomes more realistic...
As much as I give Brady all the credit in the world for playing up some mediocre wide receivers, I have to think Josh did a good job getting them prepared to play in his offense, too. I hope he'll help Boutte and Pop develop.

Absolutely agreed! Bringing Josh back is the right move on so many points. Vrabel wants guys he trust to run his offensive and defensive units. None of the diva talk like last season.

You know it dawned on me why suddenly Minihane got 2 big scoops recently and it ties into my idea of it being intentional by Vrabel.

Vrabel was/is very close with his old tackle in Tennessee, Taylor Lewan, who has had a show with Barstool for a few years now. Now Vrabel comes to NE and suddenly in his first couple weeks Kirk Minihane randomly gets big scoops before anyone else.

Who does Minihane work for? Barstool. You can draw a dotted line here.

IMO Vrabel thinks the usual “locals” like Curran need to be knocked down a peg or two and so is leaking to lowly Barstool to turn the local media power dynamic on its head. Plus potentially also doing a solid for Barstool simply because he likes them.
Lewan's podcast just announced its moving on from Barstool. Why would they give the scoop to minihane instead of their new employers?

With the OC and DC hires, the players are going to realize right away that these coaches have experience and they are going to learn a lot compared to last season. White will be like a sponge.

Sounds like they are hiring Jets RB coach Tony Dews. Breece Hall has been tearing it up under him. Then again Hall’s a really good player in his own right.

Once the OC and DC are in place, expect a flurry of hires at all levels of coaching staff. They likely know who they want.
Worth mentioning that they are now done with all the positions that required Rooney Rule compliance (assuming that Josh is in the dual OC/QB Coach role again) so they can just go out and hire whoever they want without jumping through any hoops

Dews has coached a lot of positions. Truth is, Jets RB's didn't fare as well last season as they had, Hall was very average. But, Dews has coached WR's, TE's, OL too. Has to be better than our RB's were this year. Rham needs some fire to be lit.

No word on McAdoo or AVP?
