Bourne is pretty excited

We’ll see. 2021 was a long time ago. But even with bob in 23 he was looking really good pre injury. Unless we do land multiple legit wr upgrades he could have a role here

Some team will get a devastating injury to a running back In camp and he’s easily a fourth rounder.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s traded on draft day.
Same with Dugger, Wise, Godchaux

At a minimum that gives him a lot of value in camp and certainly a little bit of a head start on that last roster spot or 2.

He had a pretty good year at the time also. Bourne isn’t quite what he used to be but this helps him.

Probably also a good change for Stevenson. Hunter Henry also has experience. Obviously David Andrews and Mike Onwenu are well-versed. So they have a number of starters who are trained in it and can help bring their peers along.

Makes me wonder if they should invest in someone like Jimmy G as a backup next year who has more experience in the system than Brissett.

Who is the Oline coach. Not many good coaches out there ?

The WRs did just fine in 2021. Guys like Jacobi Meyers and Kendrick Bourne did just fine. WRs not being able to develop is more of a Brady thing than a McDaniels thing. Brady had no patience for dumb mistakes, which will happen with young WRs.

While all this might be true about Brady, I will note that no rookie who Brady despised ended up going to another team and making anything of himself. Not Bethel, not Chad Jackson, not Dobson, not Boyce, not Harry, not even Tate who had a cup of tea with the Texans.

Yet, Givens, Branch and Mitchell co-existed just fine with Brady.

So, even if it's true that Brady was too exacting with rookies, an equally strong case could be made that Brady meshed well with the rookies who actually could play WR in the NFL.
