If it’s true I hate this decision. I’m not going to ***** about it, but I hate it.
Yea. As i've said a McD choice means Drake needs to learn EP.

I don’t see the big deal. It’s Drake’s second season, are they really supposed to stick with the system that their 11th choice in OC in 2024 provided for the rest of his career? And if you’re worried he can’t learn it, then maybe he’s not the guy.

Offensive line coach is extremely important too. Who is the best of the best of coaches? Pay that man whatever he won't.

Does change in system effect Milton more?
Since he gets limited reps.

Theoretically someone could also have specifically approved of leaking to Minihane in order to disrupt the balance of power in the local media market. Suddenly the guys "in the know" the last few years are out of the loop and this other dude with no track record is breaking scoops.

Feels like a Vrabel thing to do. But also admittedly very conspiratorial.
Could also be a smokescreen. Feed misinformation (i.e. say that you’re hiring McDaniels but you’re really not), see who leaks it, and you have your mole. Not saying that’s what this is, but rather what it could be.

Again McDaniels hasn’t had one interview noted, that has to be the red herring.

IMO we should be celebrating if we land McDaniels. He's proven in the role, not likely to be poached, he made Mac Jones look good for a year. I am pro-McDaniels. New doesn't automatically mean better.

Meaning he’s the guy he’s always been the Guy, we interview other teams position coaches pick their brains and see if we want to try to poach them for other roles.
Genius:

There's a rumor about OSU Chip Kelly as the NE OC.

Vrabel went to OSU.

It’s McDaniels.
It makes too much sense.
Kelly could come on in some role but it’s McDaniels show.

Sure Maye can learn it. How many rookie QBs learn a new system in their 2nd year and are successful?

It was an organizational decision to go to WC- not AVPs.
