The inflated stats of today isn't really that impressive. Two different eras of football, different game entirely.

You aren't wrong in sentiment, but Lamar Jackson is a legitimately great passer while Vick was a liability. Vick only broke 60% completion twice in his career. Lamar is consistently mid to high 60's. He's very accurate and drops some dimes. Two different eras of football, different game entirely.
For a second I thought that was Lita Ford...Did I mention Erin Andrews was on tv wearing a leather outfit on Saturday?
Herbert over Lamar is laughable and downright illogical. He played like crap last game, I’d still take him over Lamar if that’s what you’re asking. His future is looking up with another year of Harbaugh.
Seems like you have an ulterior motive..given you would take choke artist Justin Herbert over Lamar Jackson. Hmmm I wonder why.Two different eras of football, different game entirely.
3-5 in the playoffs doesn't exactly scream 'not a choke artist', especially as a 1-seed last year.Seems like you have an ulterior motive..given you would take choke artist Justin Herbert over Lamar Jackson. Hmmm I wonder why.
Lamar Jackson is a soon to be 3x nfl mvp and future hall of famer.

Yea I totally dated myself..These kids don't know who Lita Ford is lol.
Someone needs glasses or possibly a new prescriptionFor a second I thought that was Lita Ford...
Heavy metal goddess, every teen boys dream back in the 80s.Yea I totally dated myself..
Reminds me of pay me tonsSurely a 3x MVP QB on a team with one of the highest win percentages has a Lombardi or two?
Jackson is 3 - 5 in the post season.Lamar is the best overall qb in the league right now with Josh Allen a close second. Say what you want about him but he has worked hard to refine his game and has made himself into a very accurate and reliable passer.
You do not make it through a season withh over 400 passing attempt and only 4 interceptions without having great judgment and precision.
He will still be best wb next year with Allen and Daniels 2 and 3
Lamar let Lamar down...again.If there is a final drive with 2 minutes to go, you pick Mahomes.
Lamar played great against the Bills yesterday and Andrews let him down. But Mahomes is the gold standard in the league today
the Ravens were 3-6 this year including last Sunday when Henry didn’t run for a 100 yds. It’s clear what the gameplan should’ve been. The Ravens were going as far as Henry would go.It seemed to me that the Ravens coaching staff were hell bent on making Lamar be the "Man" like the other great QBs in the NFL, instead of letting Henry pound the Bills to dust.
Also on his way to challenging Peyton and Rodger’s for greatest regular season QB.Seems like you have an ulterior motive..given you would take choke artist Justin Herbert over Lamar Jackson. Hmmm I wonder why.

Just like last years AFC Championship game, both ended up as losses.Lamar let Lamar down...again.
The weak pass to Henry on the sideline might have scored if Lamar didnt short arm it. It seemed to me that the Ravens coaching staff were hell bent on making Lamar be the "Man" like the other great QBs in the NFL, instead of letting Henry pound the Bills to dust.
But then Henry would have received all the pub which isnt good for Lamar.the Ravens were 3-6 this year including last Sunday when Henry didn’t run for a 100 yds. It’s clear what the gameplan should’ve been. The Ravens were going as far as Henry would go.

Again, different eras entirely. Tom Brady's stats in the first half of the dynasty look much different than the second half and into his Bucs era. He is one if not only QB who really straddled the old NFL and the new one.You aren't wrong in sentiment, but Lamar Jackson is a legitimately great passer while Vick was a liability. Vick only broke 60% completion twice in his career. Lamar is consistently mid to high 60's. He's very accurate and drops some dimes.
They really aren't close to the same player. Lamar can win from the pocket, Vick can't. Lamar has high level accuracy, Vick doesn't. Lamar doesn't have close to as many dumb interceptions. The scary thing is that Lamar is also a far more productive runner.
Vick was a one trick pony
Herbert has gone through three head coaches over his short career, his teams have sucked.Herbert over Lamar is laughable and downright illogical.
