Yeah I suspect we are about to learn who Vrabes wanted at OC. Don’t think anyone on the Eagles, Commanders, Ravens/Bills, or Chiefs is in consideration.

Should be nothing left preventing a hire possibly tomorrow.

Personally, I still prefer Mcdaniels, but my gut tells me it’s one of the Rams guys.

Same here. It’s going to be an exciting week. Looks like we might be getting a first time play caller again. I’m not too excited about that.

I'd be intrigued by Ragone but I imagine if McCown gets a HC job he'd bring Ragone with him as his OC since they have a history together in the UFL.

This is why I am not ready to dump Wolf. Looks like he spent the last year expanding the football operation department and modernizing their scouting system. This was something desperately needed under Belichick which he refused to do. Wolf did free agency and the draft last year with the tools Belichick left him. Now maybe we will get vastly better results this offseason now that the football operations is starting play on a level playing field with the rest of the league.

If Wolf fails this year, he definitely needs to be gone. But maybe he will turn things around. He is well respected around the league. He did do well in Green Bay.

Well Howie Roseman came back from the Reagor pick, I guess it could happen.

He called Jaylin Polk a plug and play can’t miss prospect… as long as he’s not the final say I’m okay with it.

Polk was considered by many a steal of the draft. And was Polk's failure due to him or the fact he was never prepared properly by the staff or both? We will find out this year.

I don’t want McD back. You’ve already switched to a West Coast offense, Jonathan wanted it… just hire a West Coast coordinator.

Vrabel is a WCO guy. Stop putting it on Jonathan. Vrabel will likely pick an OC from an WCO system not because Jonathan Kraft wants it, but Mike Vrabel wants it. Vrabel has always ran a WCO in the NFL as a head coach.

Bert Breer says Vrabel likes it because it is easy for the players to execute, it is fast, and it wears down defenses.

I actually think if it was up to the Krafts, they would welcome McDaniels back.

Thoughts

-I also think Mike isn’t just focused on OC and DC, I think when the decisions come to us they’ll include almost all the coaching openings, he’s working on multiple levels at once
Should the position coaches be forced on the coordinators or should the coordinators participate in choosing them?
