Has a reported 4.3 speed and looks like it on the video. Can also return kickoffs so has a chance to stick on the roster.
The video is a fun watch and this kid has blistering pace but he's also getting some big holes so hard to judge.
Man, what an amazing acceleration. Pure speed.
Love this kid as well. He can catch it too. He’ll be a steal wherever he goes.I like Skattebo a lot, but probably not looking to spend a top 30-50 on a RB. Strongly suspect that the players we have would appear good enough if our OL improved to average and our passing attack wasn't rubbish. I still like Rham. Gibson had some nifty plays, as well.
Now that's appealing and can be had with fairly minimal draft capital. My pound the table guy at RB is Kalel Mullings from Michigan. He’s 6’1” 233lbs and is a big, physical, violent runner.
A double dip with Bhayshul Tuten would be great thunder and lightning duo.

Agreed. I just would almost never invest a 1st round pick on a RB.Actually, RB is a serious need. We have just Stevenson (Mr. Fumbles) and Antonio Gibson (who's good, but wasn't used enough). If just one gets injured or Stevenson keeps fumbling, do we just get another FA JAG? We need to draft at least 2. I would go with any two of the following: Omarion Hampton, Nicholas Singleton, Devin Neal, and Raheim Sanders.
Agreed. And you rarely have to the last decade or more. Pro-Bowl RB's are found into Round 4 and after.Agreed. I just would almost never invest a 1st round pick on a RB.
And about 99% dont last beyond their rookie deal.Agreed. And you rarely have to the last decade or more. Pro-Bowl RB's are found into Round 4 and after.
The injury attrition rate is high. Which is why you need 4 good and solid ones. And about 99% dont last beyond their rookie deal.
Overall, Allen projects as a versatile option for an offense that should earn good volume at the NFL level. His refined game as both a ball-carrier and weapon in space showcases an intriguing prospect at the position who could challenge for an RB1 role in due time.
Prospect Projection: Day 2 — Adequate Starter
“LeQuint Allen from Syracuse,” Kiper Jr. said. “He can catch the ball out of the backfield. He was big play after big play. Downhill, north-south, he goes and he runs hard. He was great in short yardage and goal line. So this kid out of Syracuse is another one of those running backs at 35 or so who have draftable grades at running back. The Syracuse kid is one of ‘em and he declared for the draft. Watch out for him. He’s going to be soaring up in the draft process as well.”
Oh I love it.
Here's another Woody Marks.
Jo'Quavious Marks currently looks like a valuable committee back with third-down specialist potential at the next level. His plus receiving chops and advanced pass pro acumen will get him on the field early in obvious passing situations. While he lacks the prototypical size for an every-down back, his vision and decisiveness could make him an effective change-of-pace option in a rotation.

- High football IQ. Quick study in new schemes and shows ability to process defenses pre-snap
Mostly in jest and as a result of the Josh McDaniels hire I went onto PFF to find a James White like back in this draft. Used PFF because it can tell you which backs lined up out wide and in the slot. Truth is, I found someone reasonable interesting.
LeQuint Allen, RB, Syracuse 6-0, 200lbs
He's not an elite rusher but did run for over 1,000 yards. however he's interesting both as a receiver and a pass blocker.
He ranks 1st amongst draftable running backs for snaps from the slot
3rd for snaps on the outside
1st in receptions
2nd in receiving yards
Graded 2nd in pass blocking only giving up 1 hurry
Only 1 fumble.
Not gonna lie, he looks like an ideal 3rd down back for McDaniels.
