Milton already getting inquiries

If there is an offer that blows them away, trade him. A blow away trade for Milton is relative. Something like a high third or second rounder.
The guy was a sixth round pick. If they can turn it into a 3rd or 2nd one year later, it is a massive success. He is still a back up. Not sure his trade value will be more than it is right now.

Otherwise, keep him.

It would have to be a second for me, as far as this off-season goes. I don’t think a 3rd is worth it. Either way they should draft a high ceiling project QB every year.

Already gotten too much exposure IMO.

Where is it reported Maye suffered three concussion?

All this guy's done is improve, and when given the opportunity, played his ass off.

I don't understand all the ****ting on him in this thread. We'd better hope that Maye doesn't have concussion issues going forward, he had 3 this season.

Joe Milton will win an important game at some point. Hopefully the ****ting will cease then.
Maye didn’t have 3 concussions. He may have had zero, at most it was 1

It's Tua Tagavailoa territory.

The last thing you want in a playoff run is Maye getting another concussion, and bringing in Jameis ****ing Winston.
I mean you can put him in any territory if you just make up a number.

I would absolutely take a 4 for Milton right now and sign Jameis Winston in FA.

Fact of the matter is that Milton ain’t playing as long as Maye is healthy. And a 4 could be a solid OL-man…..
I would NOT trade Milton.

I would still consider signing Winston (or another veteran in free agency in free agency.

When your QB has 3 concussions in a year, you need 3 Qb's.

You don't trade away a QB who looks that promising on the second year of his rookie contract for a 2nd rd pick, which could end up being another Polk.

Milton was a slamdunk pick and should stay on the roster until his final year.

What if Maye gets injured for the entire season? Having a QB that can still make you competitive is extremely valuable. So unless it's a crazy offer you keep the unicorn.

Milton also didn't play against scrubs and guys who will be bagging groceries. He let up the Bills starting secondary his first drive and the Bills played their starting FS the entire game and their starting SS for Miltons first 2 drives.

He was pulled out of one game for a concussion, and was 'evaluated' two other times. That's not normal practice.

Why do you think he was pulled from the Jets game?

You don't evaluate someone unless they show signs of a concussion. If you'd like to pretend they're not concussions because the league said they weren't, ok. I've got some Junior Seau stock to sell you. Tua was never pulled from a game until his body went into ****ing spasms on the field due to the severity of his concussions, and they still let him play.

All of this is beside the point. He's now got a history of concussions, who knows when the 'independent evaluator' will decide he needs to sit? You need someone competent to replace him in the meantime, and Milton is that.

He may have had a concussion in the jet game, but I don’t remember him being in concussion protocol.
Evaluated does not mean he had a concussion and bring out back in the game means he passed the evaluation.

No, he doesn’t have a history of concussions he may have had 1.

I don’t think they should have no backup.
Im also not sold one game against backups who were trying to lose. I remember a rookie he had 2 really good games a couple of years ago against trans trying to win. That didn’t turn out so well. We need a veteran to compete for the backup job in camp.

Where has it been said he had three concussions. If my memory serves me he was in protocol with a suspected one.

I liked Jimmy G.. he quit on his team. Drew never quitted
I think that time has dulled our memory to how great an asset to the Patriots Drew Bledsoe really was. Even after Brady stole his job he didn't sulk, just went out there and did his best when he got the chance, and the fact that he was still here was pivotal to the first Superbowl run after Brady got hurt against the Steelers. Bledsoe was able to come in and keep us in the game, because he hadn't shot his way out of town when the youngster upstaged him.

Matt Flynn/Matt Schaub 2.0.
In our dreams... firstly, we'd need a wacko GM to trade us something good for Milton III. Secondly, Shaub !?!? That would be out of this world. If Milton ever became Shaub I'd be over the moon. Solid player.

Boomer and Simms just discussed Milton and they were high on him. Mostly from a physical stand point. But Phil did say that he keeps hearing Anthony Richardson and that he finds that absurd because Milton is a more polished passer than Richardson.

Some more of this and maybe sneak out a 3rd from a desperate team that has a few thirds from comp picks or whatever.

Milton is more valuable than a 3rd. It's very hard to find a capable QB on a rookie contract

Absolutely correct. Without beldsoe heriocs however don't wind that AFCCG in 01-02. I believe with the ascension of young brady and Drew's contract it was likely he would be traded. Question didn't drew request a trade?.

Or another DK Metcalf, Deebo Samuel etc... Then watch him walk for maybe a 5th or 6th round comp? Trade his ass if its anything above a 5th.

Jimmy G brought back a 2nd. A 6th round pick heading into his second year with nothing but pre-season and a garbage time game against a the Bills Freshman team is not going to bring back a 2nd, most likely not a 3rd hence why I said a desperate team, so if a team comes knocking with a 4th you take it.
