There Is Another..........Flo

Please elaborate. I am not aware of "DEI nonsense" playing a role in a 4-13 season. I'm more of the opinion that it was poor coaching, poor talent evaluation, poor player development, poor blocking, poor tackling, and poor situational football. None of which was related to skin tone.
They sucked because the HC was promoted too soon and the FAs and draft were meh on an already lousy roster.

Mayo was promoted too soon because he was attracting many outside interviews and Kraft feared he'd lose him.

While not my first choice, i'm advocating for Brian Flores to get an interview with the NEP.

I don't care about the whole suing the NFL issue.

I respect the hell out of him.

Did a great job here as DC.

After starting 0-7 in 2019 he finished 24-18. Ross fires him because he didn't "collaborate".

Rebuilt his brand in Pitt and especially MN.

Need to understand what he would do differently based on his time in MIA.

Why not?

I don’t want them to interview him. It would be a token interview and he would be offended by them wasting his time.

I do not want him back with the Pats.
Flo is a good DC. But his demeanor and apparent heir of entitlement and blame-shifting is off-putting as a leader / HC.
He was all about racism, and I've had enough of that. Mayo showed what putting DEI nonsense first does to a team.
....

If BJ and Vrabes are off the table and KOC is not an option then it's a legit one.

Kevin O'Connell

It's a pipe dream of mine. His contract expires next year. He wanted an extension last year and Wilf told him to f-off.

If they tell him to f-off again maybe we have a trade for him scenario.

Again....pure pipe dream

I get that it worked for the Pats and Bill, but I am not so sure I'd want to roll that dice again. I think I'd rather have Vrabel, Johnson or Flo before entering that circus.

???
Racism exists.
What happened to Flores was some totally demeaning stuff that I've never heard of anywhere.
Because of that, the victim can interpret it how he likes.

I consider Flores the finest defensive mind in the game today.

The Dolphins have pretty much shown how soft they are.

I don't disagree. It's messy and drawn out.

We are required to do DEI interviews.
Don’t hate Flores but wouldn’t be thrilled with him being hired.
Seems like a JAG kind of coach to me.

I like him too

Hard pass. I liked his defense, but I'm skeptical of anyone that coaches a defense on a Bill Belichick led team.

Also not interested in a guy who got in a pissing match because he felt comfortable berating the franchise QB and future of the franchise. Don't really care if you think Tua is overrated, it reeks of the **** Josh McDaniels pulled in Denver. I can't trust him with Maye. Especially when Tua played much better without him.

On top of that, not sure I really want another coach who pissed off the league office and burned bridges that might have a target on his back.

Hey, it worked for us the last time we hired a guy after he got booted for weird owner/league goings on.

For those unaware, Belichick was head coach of the 'original' Browns who went on to become the Ravens. He did a pretty good job except for managing internal politics, which made it easy for Modell to get rid of him as part of the move to Baltimore.

I want a offensive mastermind a savant for Maye and to transform this to a top offense.
