Few people badmouth their friends when they get fired in real life, why would it be any different in sports? That’s why it’s a good idea for management not to be buddy-buddy with employees, so they can be objective.

This trumps the 1st pick and it isn't even close. A combination of Maye, the 4th pick and a mountain of cap space should hopefully make us a place an ambitious coach will want to be. Let's just hope we have a full and thorough interview process.

mayo seems like he was an easy boss. Players made good money, had fun and no discipline or accountability.

I think it's just having a respect for how much work they actually put into trying to buy into Mayo's vision (whatever the hell that was).

I wrestled with pulling the plug so quick most of the year it just kept getting worse though.
