If patriots lose out, Travis Hunter could be theirs

More data about how this weak class is. Trade down? Can't trade down too far and a second this year is a third in a normal draft which equates to about a 16% chance of the pick working out. Take Hunter, get a likely Pro Bowl player. Trade down for a lesser player must come with a 2026 first from a very weak team.

You can trade down to 3, get a first next year from a weak team, AND draft Hunter.

mayo says he wants to win this game. i can't see where having a higher score than the bills backups is "WINNING" this game. where's the satisfaction in knowing you beat the bills backups AND lost draft position. how is that winning? play well and have a lower score....that's winning !

Don’t listen to much sports radio anymore because it’s usually Felgers show when I drive home… with caveat I do like that he’s a hockey “guy”.

Whoever was filling in for Mazz last week had a really succinct summary that I hadn’t stepped back to look at…

To paraphrase: Kraft bought Pats with Bill Parcells, one of the greatest football minds ever, and a borderline Hall of Famer (especially if Tom Brady never existed). BB was obviously a Parcells “guy”.

Point being: until a year ago he’s had two of the best ever football “minds” and two franchise/hall of fame caliber QBs making all the decisions.

Fast forward to ‘24/‘25 he’s an 80-something year old man who has no experience building a successful organization from scratch. He was in 50s when he bought the team.

Unfortunately I’ve seen absolutely nothing from Jonathan that suggests he could do better. I don’t want a Jerry Jones / Al Davis “czar” owner but he needs to identify and hire the right GM/Coach and there is no better time then having the #1 overall pick/promising young qb/a billion dollars in cap space.

Be bold, have some conviction and let’s get right people in. I just don’t think Kraft has the skill set or perspective to do that

Sorry Bam, ain’t gonna happen. Best bet now is to trade down and accumulate as many picks as you can. Throw as much **** at the wall as you can.

With Mayo as a coach everything is possible.

We'll take Tetaroi McMillan.

Guessing Campbell going for need who will proceed to jag it up relative to draft position.

Oh, what a “win.” Haiyaaaaa.

Theres still a possibility all 3 teams go qb, or maybe someone falls in love with carter? But i would not bet on it. if hunter is gone id be happy with any of tet/carter/graham.

Hunter/Graham/Carter then trade up for the OT.

Well kiss that #1 pick and Travis Hunter goodbye.

At 4 we need to take the best available guy. Is there a Ja'marr Chase caliber of WR available in this draft?

Here's a video breakdown on McMillan. 6'5 and a huge red zone threat. Has some stuff to work on but you can't teach his size and athleticism.

I believe we sign Tee Higgins and draft McMillan then our WR corp becomes top notch.
1. Higgins
2. McMillan
3. Boutte
4. Douglas

Looks a LOT better than what we had this past season.

As of tonight, with the #4 pick in the draft, I would trade down, multiple times, for picks both this year and next year... Then I would use my first pick this year, wherever it lands, on either UTexas LT Kelvin Banks or Ohio State LT Josh Simmons, provided measurements/medicals check out positively on each of them, respectively. Even if we sign Cam Robinson from the Vikings, we still need to have young, cheap talent in the pipeline to help protect The Franchise's blind side; and we have NOBODY in the building currently fitting that description.
