At #1 is unlikely. But in any event, they should trade any of the top three picks to the highest bidder, get #1s in 2025 and 2026, another #2 or #3 this year and a late rounder in 2025. With the first selection take any of the top three Offensive Tackles on the board.
If they have three second-round selections, they can go DL, WR and best offensive skill player on the board - maybe the tight end from Penn State - Tyler Warren - he's a good pass catcher and at 6-6, 260 he is an athletic blocker.
Remember, the Patriots have the most money available under the 2025 cap of any NFL and should not be afraid to set the market at OL and DL.
PS - Playing GM with high draft picks and lots of cap space is so much fun. We haven't been able to Jones on picks and cap space since the early 1990s. No wonder Mel Kiper is such a jumpy, skeezy maniac. He's probably main-lining caffeine and L-theanine as the draft order sorts itself out. He gets to play GM and suffer none of the consequences if his selections suck.
