Cowboys Tell T. Romo To "Cool It" With Simpson

i dont care how close to the superbowl or playoffs i was. you dont "cool it " around that piece. i think a jessica simpson memory would be MUCH better than a superbowl memory.

I'm sorry but what is meant by "piece"?

And how many professional players are dating one of the most high profile celebrities in the country?

I'm not saying that wives/friends/family shouldn't be at the game. But when your wife is Jessica Simpson, she absolutely should not be at the game.

Prove to me that Simpson was the reason Romo sucked. It's not like they were canoodling on the sidelines. He just had a bad game and she is catching all the blame for it. It's stupid.

It's ridiculous that Jessica Simpson's attendance is being used as the excuse for the team playing poorly. This has nothing to do with professionalism, it has everything to do with her being a scapegoat for the media's next Favre laying an egg.

And FWIW, Giselle and Moynihan have both attended Patriots games while with Tommy. The Cowboys are out of line in recommending that they cool it, unless, of course, Jerry Jones has decided to model his football team after Dr. Phil's television show.

How many times do you see Eva Longoria(sp) in the stands when she see's her Tony Parker and Spurs play? How many games have they won over the last 2-3 years? Some 200?

It was just an overall FLAT game by the Boys, IMHO. The receivers were also dropping balls and running bad routes, not to mention too the OL looked lost out there as well for the first time all year.

And Jason Garrett's playcalling was the WORST I've seen all year too.

Take this as an opportunity for some pics

But Eva Longoria is way hotter than Jessica Simpson.

I think we agree on the whole of this argument, DTF.

I guess Jessica's been yanking on Romo's thumb. As far as Jessica not being hot, have you ever seen the commercial when she's in her Dazy Duke's and kicks the guy's asss. I think even Patters would consider her hot.

what would you rather have; unlimited jessica simpson untill you got sick of it, or a superbowl? or are you a woman?

Assuming I was the starting quarterback? Super Bowl. Unless you're Trent Dilfer, that pretty much sets you up in both regards.

Tony Parker says "hi"

It would not be unlimited. When he stops being a star, look out. Would she be spending time with him if he were a backup.

This is unreal in Dallas -- QB dings his thumb, has a bad game, so it's the fault of his girlfriend in a booth above the game? And because she's wearing pink?

Let's all welcome Nick Lachey to the board!!!!!

Welcome Nick, I mean onegamatatime.

It's the pink! The pink is the root of all evil!

From the column...
Simpson, however, is laughing it all off, claiming she is just as anxious as other Cowboys fans to see her guy lead the team to the 50th Super Bowl championship.

50th?

Dallas fans = Chazz Palmenteri in "A Bronx Tale" when he makes the fat guy go stand in the bathroom because he's bad luck during a craps game.

I would be very able to cool it...

So if the network cameras kept their focus on the field instead of Jessica Simpson, is this even an issue?

No.

This story is more about the media than anything else.

hmmmm.....this...

...or this?

I'll take Jessica Simpson thank you! :rocker:
