Wolf has made worse GM decisions than post Brady BB

It is a ****ing Disgrace that this guy - as utterly unremarkable as he is - had to sit behind two completely UNdeserving, worthless piles of ****ing **** like SlloPolk & half-Baked. Our rookie QB deserves better... And our Grocery-Shoppers need to be FIRED before they can **** UP another season of his development.

You dont like the Polk and Baker picks? Color me shocked!!

These were all the negatives pieced together from various scouting agencies and they are all coming to fruition

Bottom line:: common denominator is lack of separation and fast twitch athletic ability. No more drafting wise receivers who struggle in college to beat man coverage
Wolf said he personally scouted Polk and brought over his expertise from GB's drafting playbook.

I can't figure out what you are trying to say. Hitler didn't have 100% total control.
Wrong again.

Hitler had 100% control that's why he was nearly assassinated.
The discussion is Wolf not having the GM title.
Wolf has the Defacto GM title like BB had in his last few years.
Is your point that Wolf has the same power that Bill had?
Wolf is the Pats GM to fire.
Otherwise your comments are not relevant to the discussion.
If Wolf has another 2024 like draft he will be the NE GM fired that you claimed didn't exist.

Somehow they didn't mess up on Maye so it's not flat out terrible.

Wolf belongs in the backup quarterback commercial.

With all the bad moves if they hire a real GM in a month to oversee this mess, the franchise is in better shape now, if only because of Maye.

Wolf is the perfect #2.
Everyone in the would knew Maye was the pick.
Every single other decision he has made has been bad other than a couple that were meh.

Why is he a perfect #2? Why would you want a guy who has zero clue about evaluating players anywhere in the franchise?
He is a net negative in any front office role.

The problem here is that all of these things can be in the scouting reports and the player overcomes those issues to excel. The very best draft prospect still has weaknesses that could come to fruition. The very best NFL players had weaknesses as draft prospects. Let’s play this game with a different wide receiver who has happened to find success…

The concern with Jefferson’s tape is that we don’t see him separate well from man coverage. He clearly benefitted from playing in LSU’s spread passing attack this past year. And he does seem to have a nice feel for finding soft spots in zone coverages. But he was too often bottled up by quality man coverage. He doesn’t seem to play with the same athleticism before the catch as he does after.
That all made his tape a little disappointing. While he’s clearly comfortable and effective in contested situations, he didn’t really shine anywhere else. And his struggles vs. man coverage are a concern as we project him to the next level.

Unable to run away and separate from tight man. Size and strength across from him impede production. Will take time adjusting to press looks as a pro. Limited one-on-one prowess to win 50/50 throws. Separation talent just average outside.

Jefferson may not be a big separation receiver as a pro because he may not have elite speed to run by pro cornerbacks. He could be better off as a No. 2 receiver playing off a No. 1 and taking advantage of single coverage. It would help Jefferson to add some strength and fill out his frame for the next level.

You would think, but there were a lot of (NFL) people who would have traded down and drafted JJ McCarthy.

I don't believe he is a net negative in a secondary position, and the continuity would be a positive, especially if the entire coaching staff is out.

What happens to Robyn Glazer? She is reporting directly to the Kraft GM family and managing the GM function. Do you think Glazer reports to the new GM? Do you think any professional GM will take the position with Glazer reporting around him directly to the Kraft familiy?

So are you saying this mess is beyond repair?

Yup. Taken in its totality, the mess is completely on the Krafts and not fixable unless the whole system is gutted.

A top 5 QB cures a lot of ills.

Look at Buffalo.

Ok no Super Bowls, but still good football. Not this.

I do not care about good football. I understand you like that. I have better things to do than watch good sports.

I seriously doubt anyone would have traded down if running this team.

Why do you want continuity of failure?
If he stinks at evaluating players he will be a net negative. What has he ever done that would suggest otherwise?

Now that they have Maye I think you have to cut them a little more slack.

We agree the current management team doesn't cut it.

But the Kraft's figured out a way to put together a championship head coach/QB combo before.

Maybe it's luck, but they might be halfway there pretty fast (meaning since the end of Bill's time).

That was as dishonest as it gets.
You think I would be maladroit & disingenuous about posting scouting reports that show up on the first 5 google searches? Come on, you’re better than that.

Let’s not make a mountain out of a mole hill. Did you actually believe, or are you truly naïve enough to think that I would post that hoping to deceive people? I can only marvel at the level of your cynicism. You must be very proud of yourself for being so clever.

This will show if it was luck or not. I think Brady was luck but BB realized what they had, but the draft picks was luck. I am not sure Kraft knows anything. I hope he proves me wrong.

I don’t think Kraft knows anything, but I hope he finally realizes that and stops trying to prove you wrong.

Kraft didn’t do ****! Bill was the one who decided to draft Brady. Then Bob wanted Bill to play Bledsoe over Brady and was prepared to fire Bill had the Brady experiment backfired or they missed the playoffs with Drew Bledsoe. He gave Bill a double edged sword, with Bill only succeeding in the process. Bob then had the nerve to try to take credit for all their success. He’s a turd.
