Kraft is a businessman and business men make business decisions. I think If Mayo loses out all bets are off. Drake Maye has generated a buzz: and I am sure the Ben Johnsons and Kliff Kingsbury's of the NFL world are taking notice.

If Drake Maye thinks Mayo is going to be a problem going forward, he's got leverage to ask for a change. However, he needs to have a one on one meeting with Kraft and not the passive aggressive way of expressing you're upset with other people and have that leaked out.

Irregardless of the combo there is enough WR talent out there to make significant impact on our team.

Same with LT go hard after Cam Robinson. Budda Baker at Safety. And now you can take best player available irregardless of position if you want. Grab a sideline to sideline backer, a stud DT or Edge, etc...This team can be put in good shape quickly this offseason with the right moves. All eyes on you Mr. Wolf!

Of course, that is a given! But we need the coach first and foremost and then everything falls into place . As much as players want to go play with a great QB, they are also swayed by a coach they think will have success

My guess is if Kraft is calling around about advice on how to best develop Maye, he is going to do whatever he can to make the kid a superstar. I think the Pats will get a true #1 WR this offseason either in free agency or trade. I think they will be players in free agency and spend a lot of draft capital building up the offense.

Plus, AVP is doing a great job developing Maye. He definitely needs to get better as an OC and play calling, but he is improving there too.

Does Gruden still have the inside access to teams as he did back during his peak ESPN broadcasting years......or is he dialing up his expert analysis from the comforts of his couch (or barstool)?
