I hope I'm proven wrong, but Indy is the only game I see us having a shot at and they have a good defense and a running QB.
I hope you are right, they could really jump start the rebuild with a TMAC or Hunter from the draft.
However:
-Rams are not great, travelling cross country after a Monday Night game. Yeah, the receivers are healthy, but they put up only 15 against Miami at home.
-Miami, house of horrors under BB going there and likely a loss unless Tua get hurt again. Patriots ran for 8 yards a carry first game but started crappy Jacoby. If they can run, with Maye they have a shot.
-Colts, at home vs a bad QB-likely win
-Cardinals- Going on the road, solid to good team, likely loss BUT is after the bye and if the Pats somehow run 3 in a row they come in with a ton of momentum and rest.
-Bills-NO way they go to Buffalo and win-Loss
-Chargers-Good QB, Good Line but OK receivers, but really good defense-Chargers had hardest travel schedule of all the teams in NFL this year, might catch up to them, so a shot because it is at home and a warm weather team coming in December.
-Bills-Possible rest the starters game for Bills.

Bills is one definite loss
Colts one likely win
Rams is next best chance to win IMO.

All the other games they are underdogs but have varying % chance of winning each.

FWIW, as of Week 9, there were 15 games left between teams that ended Week 8 with two or fewer wins. (Some of these games have already been played.)

5 games: MIA

4 games: JAX, NO

3 games: LV, NYJ, TEN

2 games: CAR, CLE, NE, NYG

I just want Scar to coach the OL coach.
I think we all do but I’m keeping an open mind about whoever the OL coach is now I forget his name.

We have to have the worst personnel situation in the entire league at OL and recently they have been playing okay. I wouldn’t say good but not awful. Gotta give a bit of credit to the coaching there.

Vederian Lowe-6th round pick, acquired a year after drafted for a 6th round pick
Michael Jordan-4th round pick-waived after 2 seasons and released from Packer practice squad 5 years in
Ben Brown-UDFA released by 4 teams
Mike Onwenu-6th round pick
Jacobs-Undrafted Free Agent-Waived by Broncos

These are the starters Scott Peters is coaching- lack of talent not lack of coaching on the line is the problem.

You are correct, Richardson is the starter again
That is better for us to have to face Richardson... flacco I'd rather not face. How do you feel about that? I am chalking up at least 3 more losses for us 2x to bills and 1 to Miami? All the other games could be possible Ws??

Yes id rather face richardson in all honesty. That game is the most winnable. If we beat the rams, that gives me some hope with miami,az,lac.

Buffalo games are not very winnable barring an injury to Allen or them resting starters.

Id honestly be happy with taking 2 from the first group and stealing a buffalo game (legit win, not with them resting people). 6 wins and hopefully Maye playing at or around the level hes at now. A late win against buffalo would be like beating the dolphins in 93. The one thing i want to avoid is seeing him go through a stretch like Caleb is going through now. This is a very real possibility considering what maye has around him but im confident drake has the mental capacity to avoid letting it get that bad.

Good stuff. Yeah I feel that is a good plan! The thing with Drake is I feel like in various ways he's gotten better each game. As he's gotten invaluable experience by playing. Drake gives us something at the QB position we haven't seen in 5 years.. hope and optimism. I love seeing him break the pocket and breaking down defenses it gives me Allen vibes!

Even to go 4-3 these last 7 games would be a massive success.
If we finish, say, 7-10 in this first year of a young rookie QB, and a total reset, that would be encouraging going into '25.
Especially if we could finish the season 6-4 after starting 1-6.
Let's see what happens.

Pats have been under .500 in December since winning Super Bowl 53.

2019: 2-3
2020: 2-3
2021: 2-3
2022: 1-3
2023: 2-3

I just want them to finish strong in December like they used to. If they can do that I'll chalk up this season as a W playoffs or no playoffs.

I couldn’t be happier with drake. Most 22 year olds thrown into this offense would probably be in bryce young / kenny pickett territory in terms of awful
