Going off of the Rams recent wors, it looks like their offensive line is pretty rough right now.
Some points from a write-up of their last game (source:
PFF Grades Reveal Struggles of Rams' Offense Against Dolphins)
- "Joe Noteboom allowed six total pressures, including one sack."
- " The Rams started three new offensive linemen, causing instability in pass protection. Despite losing, the Rams' receiving corps had solid performances, with four players earning top grades."
There's some struggle at C with them having benched Limmer for a returning Jackson, who came off of IR. He didn't seem to settle in last game and fans think Limmer has been more than good enough to keep the starting job.
Havenstine being injured has caused some issues to an offensive line that was seemingly otherwise stout. He's expected to be inactive this week as well. Their whole line has been shifting around because of injuries and suspensions.
The off on the right side with Noteboom, it seems. That being said, the Rams still had more offensive yards and first downs. The INT's really added up and drives stalled out.
On defense, the Rams were pretty good against the run. 30% of run plays were either a loss or kept to zero gain by the Rams line. Bobby Brown kinda took over in that Miami game. 70 yards total rushing.
They're gonna be a tough team and that's not considering if Stafford corrects course and they stabilize just an inch more at OL.
Our OL is going to yet again have their hands full.
