Winning is more fun than draft position. I understand the overall msg you’re sending - but as Caleb is trying to show, you can’t promise winning by picking first.
He fumbled at his own 25 down 2 points. Two plays later, now down 5 points, he throws a pick. So he committed two turnovers inside his own territory in 3 plays in a one score game.
Remember when all the Mac fanboys all said he just needed weapons? The guys is 14/21, 112 yards and an int and a fumble with 2 minutes left in the 4th. Just a terrible QB.
I'd have to go back and look, but that 3rd down penalty by the defense probably keeps a streak alive. I'll have to break that down this week and maybe add that to the stat pages.
