So Bill gets 100% of the credit for 10 wins that year and not his QB or his players… but 47-17 from his defense wasn’t his fault.

Yeah when the last game where the defense stopped an elite offense was Super Bowl 53 then I’d say thats a major unsolved problem.

Dude if you can't see that Maye is a legit QB prospect then you can't be helped. I was on the Mac sucks train and maybe even leading it because noodle arm couldn't throw a ball unless he was on platform.

Opinions are fantastic, I have and will have ****ty ones no doubt. I usually won't chime in when something is borderline. This, this isn't borderline and quite frankly, you have no earthly idea of what you are talking about. None.

Edit to add they probably get shut out today if Mac is the QB behind this line. Not probably. Would.

As for Maye it’s tough to grade a rookie playing his 4th game. Plenty of good and not so good which is what you want him to identify and learn from it all. I’d probably give him a C for this one. 3 turnovers including a game loser is tough to spin.

That defense in SB53 also didn't have to worry about Todd Gurley as his knees were shot. It would've been a lot more difficult game had we seen a healthy Gurley.

The wind and rain is when the Pats have been able to stop competent offenses.

The current roster needs an overhaul - regardless of the past - and with money, space, and high draft picks it’s got to start in 2025. Another poor offseason should mean changes.

You have brought up this game several times like it is the only game that matters. This year alone the team has had many worse games like that based on their level of play. Right now the owner, all the coaches and the team are horrible . What really annoys me is how you and some other posters hate the most successful coach this team has ever had !

I don't ever recall Belichick as the first player/coach. They beat up on bad teams getting 7 of their 10 wins (one of them against Trevor Lawernce by the way).

Again, you're assuming that just because I pointed out he hasn't won a game from start to finish. And having 10 points with one second left in regulation against a 1 win Titians team isn't exactly something to be jumping up and down for.

At the end of the day, he's going to have to win some games. If the Pats front office doesn't do their job, he won't be able to.

He's literally the youngest player in the league, on his 4th game, technically 3rd with ZERO offense around him AND he looks pretty damn good.

He was 19 for 20 at one point. He's not the problem

I don’t hate Bill. I hate the awful job that he did the last couple of seasons - and it was wretched - starting with his goofy MP/JJ hires. That’s where he lost me for good.

Bill didn’t manage any such thing. He was a coach. Players win games not coaches. Bill himself will tell you that. If you think wins are all on the coach it’s only logical to assume losses are as well.
