Maye gets the win.
Technically yes, but we know the truth. Waste of the 3rd pick. I just want to be the person that rains on all of the parades.

Maye was not a waste at all and is the future. I just like talking ****

Per WZLX’s Michael Hurley, “large chunks” of fans were reportedly seen leaving the game early after the injury

Pink hats. I can’t understand.

I was at London; only 5th game I could attend in my lifetime…. I was still on edge of wall at Pats tunnel til long after the last equipment guy walked out w 5 helmets.

I thought we looked good in man coverage. The run defense was decent, though clearly not as dominant as it usually is. I thought it was a well-called defense gameplan.

I'm starting to come around to AVP. I think he's a better playcaller, even if he's not innovative enough for my tastes, than I thought. Lowe is so much better than I ever gave him credit for. When he's in, the line looks so much better.

And I've said this for the last few years, but Henry is a great TE in this league. I know we were spoiled by Gronk, but Henry makes the catches we need him to.
Henry is very good, and Hooper is a pretty good TE2. I said in the Game Day Thread that I'm happy with them, and I'd be happy to keep rolling with them as the top 2 for a couple more years. Henry will eventually lose a step but can slide into the TE2 role himself at that point, at which time hopefully they have identified a new TE1. Henry's also been one of the best team leaders on offense.

Credit to Lowe for sure, he is (dare I say?) a borderline "good" LT when healthy... Tough assignment today against the Jets front and he did his job. Keep him upright and they might actually have a guy they can lean on for another year if they go WR1 in the first round. Just make sure to keep Jacobs around for depth...

I am curious to see what AVP keeps cooking, seems like he is getting it rolling the last 2 weeks. He has a great foundational knowledge of the scheme but is a very inexperienced playcaller. I guess it's possible that with enough time and experience he could also become decent at that and end up being a solid OC? He's definitely been a great QB developer.

Nice to win. One thing I’ll say is that our receivers need to shut the **** up. This wouldn’t have been a nail biter win if not for their incompetence.

This was pur Super Bowl. With the reciever crew we have its no thrills till the end. Drake needs 4 weeks. Brisett ball style is back.

Yup, Maye will be out for awhile.

Jacoby is back in the saddle.

Seriously, this isn’t about us. AR with his HC fired and hand picked WR with stars on D got smacked by Jacoby………

They could not be worse.
The Pats aren’t Soft ….like Belichick said…..I just don’t think that they have had much leadership honestly ….Mayo just wasn’t /isn’t ready for this kind of role…but he called out his players toughness and maybe that inspired them to go out and prove themselves. Pats could have won by more today but these bleeping drops!….im not sure I’ve seen so many….Anyways congrats to the Pats on the W!! (even tho will hurt them in the Tankstakes) . I hope Maye is ok and can get back out there….if not, Start Milton!!!!

With an AVERAGE line and AVERAGE receivers this could be a decent offense...problem is Krafty has neither

The line, overall, played it's best game. Still LOTS of work to do.

Really? The run blocking sucked and Maye and Brisett where flushed from the pocket repeatedly.

Winning feels good! Jacoby really suprised me, so did the OL. The OL continuing to improve is a fantastic development for us. Over half 2 i hope to see some improvement from wr and defense. Wr’s were embarrassing today. The defense struggled a bit but injuries and the bs pi on gonzo played a big part. They took a step forward imo from the last several weeks.

Big win for mayo after the noise this week. He got the team to fight ill give him that. Lets see if this continues or if we lose the next 6.

Just think what this would have been if we had less drops. This game hurt from just appreciating the game, I am glad they won but watching balls dropped on a pretty regular basis was so ****ing frustrating.

I'm very curious what intel we get about Maye's situation. Was it the NFL that made him get pulled/checked, or did Mayo decide to do it? And if so, why?

I could kind of understand Mayo being cautious... We've just watched Tua for several years on multiple occasions play through games he really shouldn't have after hits to the head, and perhaps he thought it was wiser to sit him before anything else bad happened and guarantee him a week to get over any head injury vs. keep playing him and risk another hit that does real damage. That would really hurt his career.

In the end they get the best of both worlds - kept Maye safe and still got the big win.

Dont gatekeep fandom.

Kraft got what he deserved with how he ran this franchise into the ground.

Think Brady took over Jacoby's body for Halloween. Brissett played really well.
I agree ….Brissett played well today and has taken a lot of crap this year. He is what he is ….an adequate backup….and he has been thrown into a starting role with higher expectations than he can deliver. I will say one thing….. you can’t question his toughness.
