WTF. The receivers NOT catching the ball is killing this team. It's clearly NOT just POLK. Bourne, Thornton, Henry, and Hooper have all had critical drops in games. Clearly this is a SYSTEMIC thing..
Only winnable game left on schedule is next week. They'll be more than 7 points dogs in almost every other game....and Maye won't play...maybe this is payback for Kraft's evil deeds throughout his business career
Take Travis Hunter and don't look back. I watched every Buffs game this season and he's a freak. He catches balls he has no right catching, his separation is also unmatched. Have him play 1 way only of course.
Then throw a bag at Higgins and we go from worst WR room to top 5. Mayes running threat nullifies the rush and makes our o line passable.
The last 2 weeks have shown us that our WR have cost us both games.

Maye's rushing ability makes the D need to think about committing a "spy", and having two guys who are WR1-level will also make the D want to put more guys in coverage. So the actual amount of oncoming rushers will probably be fairly low, which also opens up room for someone like Stevenson.
Obviously I'd love to have a great OL but if you have all of these other pieces you can get away with the group they have now (assuming Strange and Wallace come back in good health) plus modest reinforcement in the 3rd/4th and some JAG level free agents.
