It's not about what you find out and what you know, it's about what other guys know. With 1 point you are putting pressure on them less then 7 minutes to go. And everyone knows it's different ball game when you are playing under pressure knowing that 3 and out can potentially lead to tie game then knowing that you can play without pressure because you will have ball one more time with lead. That's at least 3 more plays and more then 2 minutes of the clock

It was an horrible press conference!

Basically, coaching is fine, it’s the player not playing good enough and discipline isn’t really a thing, player can do whatever they want ! Calling their teammate in the media is fine, posting stupid stuff on instagram is fine!

Well that would be in the event you miss the 2.
So you would be trucking yourself into thinking you need 1 score. That’s a bigger disadvantage to yourself than a perceived advantage that the other team has “pressure”.

"This is your job and you need to take care of your body, you need to do everything a little bit better"

"No issue with Xs and Os, players just need to be where they're supposed to be" (talking about the defense)

When asked about the players speaking out in the media, Mayo said (direct quote here) "I don't think it creates a divide in the room at all, I think just how I use the media sometimes for messaging, I think some of the players do the same thing, I'm not gonna tell them to say this or say that - no, if that's how you feel, if you feel like you're the best player in the league then go do it, if you wanna challenge your brothers beside you then go do it, I think they use it as a tool to get guys going."

He says he has not spoken to Ja'lynn Polk or KJ Osborn about their posts at all. Says he does not know anything about what KJ was posting about but it's their "freedom of speech" if they want to post about it.
