2. Being so weak at run stopping that the Jaguars ran it 18 times in a row. Need better DT effort and leadership.
3. Hail mary pass at the end when the Jaguars rushed only three guys and the five Patriots’ linemen couldn’t block them?

Failure in all three phases of the game.

Failure of coaching as well. It is becoming clear Mayo is in over his head.

They are done. Soft, given up, playing with no passion. Mayo has not gotten the team to play for him, Wolf has not given the team any playmakers on either side of the ball.

Years ago, when they sucked, I was loyal, I knew they were going to get better. Not feeling anywhere this optimistic. I don’t see me giving them my prime Sunday time going forward. Disappointing to say the least.

You want to delay that knowledge until it’s too late.

Not guaranteed they’ll miss the two after the next score. Might get a different D, run a different play. Polk may not slip. Lots of variables that might change.

Maye - 26/37 for 276 yards with 0 turnovers. The rookie QB is doing his job.

This team looks like it's on its way to the #1 overall pick. What can they get for that? Mixed results from 13 previous trades of the #1 overall pick, but a top receiver and four draft picks seems reasonable. If I'm Bob Kraft, I set up a meeting with Danny Ainge to advise on the next move.

I hate to defend Mayo here but the 2 point conversion call is at the bottom of the list of my gripes for him.

I’m not so sure. I can tell you what AVP will call, ahead of most plays.

Maye is already well above average, and he’s not even close to his ceiling.

Totally agree….i guess it doesn’t matter if he is fired during the season as this season is lost…..but please Krafty ….clean house and pay some money to bring in great coaching…..

And we supposedly have a defensive minded HC and the D at least was supposed to be great this year…..Mayo has been abysmal….and what a sloppy, soft, disengaged, undisciplined and weak group the D is ….

He was supposed to be a leader of men. Instead it is clear his team has tuned him out and he has lost the locker room.

Firing Mayo in the middle of the season is wishful thinking. However he should be.

This is especially true because Kraft's ego is on the line. Mayo was hand picked by him. It may take YEARS before he gets the boot, although Kraft's age works against that.

I doubt Kraft pulls the trigger this year. That would be admitting he made a mistake and I do not think his ego would be able to take it.

He ain’t lying there but it starts with the coaches and then team leaders of which they have few….the culture within the Patriots has changed and not for the better!
