I'll see you the Plunkett game and raise you one. My first trip to Fenway, I didn't sit on top of the left field wall, I sat in front of it.
I'm not ready to start work on that Drake Maye bust for the HOF. He needs to improve his accuracy. He reminds me of the kind of golfer who hits a good shot about 30% of the time and thinks he's really good. He also needs to get bigger or else he's not going to last. He has a basketball player-type of build. A good prospect--let's see what happens. I wouldn't place too much emphasis on yesterday's game. Once they went up 14-0, the Texans knew the game was over.
The offensive line is the worst I've ever seen--it will take lots of free agent money, draft picks and luck to fix that. Wolf and Mayo should start acting like their jobs depend on fixing this--because I'm sure it does. Someone in that organization needs to get in Onwenu's face and tell him to lose 40 pounds in the off season or not bother showing up for camp next year.
That being said, I like watching the defense, at least for the first half or so. Seems like they're playing hard, which is a tribute to Mayo and/or Covington.
