I obviously hope that you're right. But, I'll wait until the season is over to see what happens. If he was going to get killed, it was today against that D. He will learn more and more how to protect himself better as the weeks go on. Caleb Williams got destroyed by this same defense.
Mmm these say otherwise: turnovers. bad throws. INTs.He gained playing experience. He was not careless with the ball.
Every snap he plays builds his level of experience.
You think he won't learn from that? Here's something for you to chew on. Caleb Williams got DESTROYED by this same defense in his first game. Utterly demolished.Mmm these say otherwise: turnovers. bad throws. INTs.
I think it is a case of the Patriots are so bad, no one is going to get talked about. If he can win half of the remaining games left, the media will be talking about him soon. Even though he did what no other rookie QB did in his first game, he still lost so no one cares !! If they won, everyone would be talking about him .He also should learn that nationally he is getting pretty much ignored from what I have seen. Do something that no other rookie QB did this year in one game?
Let's watch Calebs TDs in London.
Loser anti- Patriot media. Again, unless I am wrong.
Your ability to be civil leaves a lot to be desired too.You think he won't learn from that? Here's something for you to chew on. Caleb Williams got DESTROYED by this same defense in his first game. Utterly demolished.
Maye threw the ball a bit behind Pop that ended up in a 20 ish yard completion. Might have been a TD had he passed it ahead of him a bit more. Then later in the game, same route just flipped and he hits him in stride = Touchdown, first of Pops career.
So yeah your opinion on this matter leaves a lot to be desired.
Hahah nice try dude. I just gave you an example of him learning on the fly and you just ignore it. Was he great? Nope, but it was his first start and he is the youngest by far of the rookie QB class.Your ability to be civil leaves a lot to be desired too.
That throw behind Pop was just one of many inaccurate throws by Maye. He made some accurate throws but not consistently enough to show he learned anything. We will have to see how he does in his next couple of games to tell.
Until we see otherwise his accuracy and consistency sucked. That’s my opinion and if you don’t like it you can go suck eggs.
Nice try yourself. He was so erratic that it’s not clear he learned anything or just got lucky with one of his better throws at an opportune time.Hahah nice try dude. I just gave you an example of him learning on the fly and you just ignore it. Was he great? Nope, but it was his first start and he is the youngest by far of the rookie QB class.
There were multiple instances of him learning from quarter to quarter. It was his first game. He played better than half the other crap bag QBs in the NFL do on a weekly basis. The fact you don't think he learned anything from playing this game tells me you never played a sport in your life. If he makes the same mistake next week then you can say something. You can have an opinion, everyone does. When it's not rooted in fact then it’s hard to defend.
To Duck? The argument for starting Maye has been that he would learn better being in the field than on the bench. So it seems a fair question to ask what he learned today. Was it that he can’t be careless with the ball? Was it that the O line is inconsistent at best? How did playing today accelerate his learning to become the QB of the future for the Patriots?
One int was a fluke, the other was just an overthrow.Mmm these say otherwise: turnovers. bad throws. INTs.
That he belongs in the league, and should have started at a minimum 2 weeks ago.The argument for starting Maye has been that he would learn better being in the field than on the bench. So it seems a fair question to ask what he learned today. Was it that he can’t be careless with the ball? Was it that the O line is inconsistent at best?
