Whether he’s guilty or not, at this point I’m starting to feel for Mayo, so much bad crap has went down with the roster that’s outta his control you can’t judge him too harshly off this year.

Yeah there’s been questionable decisions on the field he’s made, but we all should’ve expected growing pains this year and beyond.

This is really bad news. Peppers to this point has been a dependable presence in the defensive backfield.

We might need to replace him due to these legal troubles.

I don't get why NFL players insist on pissing away their career chances to commit violence.

They are making money normal people only dream about and doing it in a legal way!
We don’t know the story yet but it sounds like he was Coke up and tried to strangle whatever woman he was with.

A large chunk of NFL players grow up in neighborhoods where drugs and crime are prevalent. That’s the lifestyle they know. A lot of them it was football, drug dealing or jail, or dead by 25. That’s how they grew up. You can’t expect them to change easily, especially when you hand them millions.

I can’t remember who the player was but after his career was over he committed a bunch of crimes, and they asked him about his fall from NFL star to convicted criminal and he said growing up he expected to be dead or in jail by this point in his life but he lived good getting those NFL checks and now it’s back to reality.

He's saying she came over drunk, he wouldn't have unprotected sex with her, and she got belligerent. If she was wasted and fell and that's where the marks are from, we'll see it on tape. Who called the cops? Was that in any story and I missed it?

If he strangled her there will be marks on her neck, if there are marks there is no way to explain that. If he did that then **** him, cut him immediately.

Just in case this season hadn't quite jumped the shark for you yet.

Nope, on and off girl friend. Girl came for the bag and if she can’t get the bag or tie him with a kid, then next is to destroy him. He likely used force to get her out of his house and she fell. This is probably their act as a couple where they go on and off but this time, she sees him with real money now and he does not want to secure her future so he is goin through it. Unless other victims come out, I believe he just does not at 29 decide to choke women because he is angry.
Wow let’s blame the victim because that guy who can play safety surely would never do anything wrong. Her coke too?

Mapu back at S with Peppers potentially kicked to the curb?

Well he already said the cocaine was his.

Really, no matter how the domestic went down, that's more than enough to put him on the exempt list while he goes to rehab. It's not the 80s. You don't get to do coke and play anymore.

That couldn't be explained by a fall and that would be it for him. I'm just saying what his lawyer said, should be easy enough to prove or disprove with the video. I hate to jump to conclusions in these cases until all the facts are out so I'm reserving any more comments until I hear the full story.

They said I can't rap about being broke no more
They ain't say I can't rap about coke no more

What is the current policy for getting caught with drugs? Anyone know?

Relax. You're acting like this is the first guy on the Pats to get caught with drugs or assault and batter someone in the last 24 years. Hell, you had one player murder someone and I bet you didn't say that the team was out of control and you hope Kraft sells the team.
But Hernandez was released within hours of the arrest. Peppers is still on the team. BB would have cut him already.

Not without getting the full story he wouldn't. Let's see what evidence he has before throwing him off the team.

It almost cost them the opportunity to pursue Hernandez’s signing bonus. The NFL gave them a generous interpretation that being held without bail is enough to immediately void a contract even if they’re never found guilty of a crime. If they cut Peppers right now, they likely forfeit any chance at recouping what has been paid.

He needs to get cut just based on the coke. Then again, wasn't someone else who was found in a place with coke? Who was that?
