Yes, the OL the same as they have been all season. SOME teams with a poor OL get significantly worse if they lose their starting LT and their canter leaves early in the game, add also lose their backup LT to injuries.
Some teams have a good OC that can actually scheme thing up around it. AVP system and Brissett are just making the line look way worse than what it could be.

There is things that you can actually do to help them. Running an under center play action offense with a QB that can’t process and can’t throw isn’t one of them.

The disaster for this front office is if Maye plays and looks bad. That's why they are sitting him.

But as Scarnecchia said, they *have* to play Maye enough to know what they have in him. They can't go into next year's draft with a top pick and not know what they have in Maye.

Yes. They can. Because the #1 issue right now is the lack of capable starting tackles on both sides. People made fun of me for wanting the Pats to draft Bookend tackles instead of a QB.. We're seeing exactly WHY I wanted the bookend tackles. Because having a QB with this S**t line means nothing but wasting a pick. The QB isn't going to make Onwenu a better RT or Jacobs a better LT. They might SEEM better, but they won't really be.

The problem is that they aren't going to fix the problem this year. They're going to end up with a top 5 pick and will have wasted a year of Maye's development. And.. Guess what.. There isn't going to be anyone available in Free Agency at OT who will be worth signing. And the Pats are going to need to add a CENTER as well.

So, we could be looking at 3 rookie starting O-linemen next year. With Sow and Onwenu being the only returning starters.

AVP isn't making the line to be worse than they are.

There has been ZERO continuity on the O-line. Especially with Jordan and Lowe not playing today.

Next, you'll be blaming AVP for Stevenson's fumbles.

Where is Javon Baker????? Osborn provides nothing on offense. Not even noticeable.

Osborne isn't an issue. Try actually watching the games.

Jacoby averaging 134 passing yards per game and on pace for 8.5 TD's.

And many of you guys thought this was a solid signing....

Brissett knows AVP's system and he would be a Better QB than Mac Jones that was the answer. I am sure those people who took that Oath are hiding now.

The coaches sticking with JB because they don't want DM to get injured is their choice to make. However, in making it the Pats are openly admitting to tanking and don't really care if JB ends up getting used as a tackle bag in the process.

How the front office has addressed the tackles position the last two years is the main culprit for the Pats looking like the worst team in the league. Their tackle additions this offseason were Okafor and Wallace. Okafor was supposed to be the free agent solution at left tackle, then he somehow wasn’t good enough to play on a team with the worst tackles in the league. They thought they could bargain basement shop at an extremely important position and are paying for it. Yes, they would have needed to overpay to bring in a startable tackle the last two years but it’s not like their hurting for cap space.

The defense really misses Barmore and Judon but it has been good enough through 4 games. The offense simply has not and imo that’s because of the front office.

Okorafor was NEVER a "solution" for Left Tackle. Not for anyone who actually was paying attention. Okorafor was a low-risk/ high potential signing for starting RT that might provide some swing tackle ability.

Wallace practiced LT for Penn State every year he was there. He was a project for LT but should have been able to take snaps at RT from the get go. They mishandled him during TC.

There was no free agent LT available who wasn't over 30 already or injury prone or both. So this idea that they would have to overpay is just garbage on your part. There wasn't anyone to overpay. The top LT was Trent f'in Brown. This was brought up before the end of LAST SEASON. That there weren't going to be any Free Agent options in 2024 OR 2025 that would be better than what the Pats had last year.

How can they bargain shop when there was no actual product to buy in free agency.

As for someone like Suamataia, just remember he got benched already by the Chiefs.

So you're saying that Pro Bowler V Lowe Blow wasn't playing Today?? Could have fooled me does his Twin Brothers play LT for the Patriots too?? That Peters really know how to Coach Up Left Tackles the similarities is just unmatched.

Maye was the pick. Mayo's call. They didn't draft a left Tackle. Mayo's call. There rookies are not producing yet, Mayo's choices. 14 more games to go. Soft team, lots of injuries. Mayo pay's Ramondre a long term contract, Mayo's evaluation.

Was it REALLY Mayo's call? Mayo is NOT the GM. That is WOLF. Who answers to KRAFT.

Listen,., Go be an arse on someone else's time. I'm tired of your idiocy of putting words in to people's mouths that weren't ever said or implied. You make DEUS and NEM look sensible.

DB: Osbourne sucks when Bourne comes back he'll be the odd Man out. Stop defending player's who suck just because they are wearing the uniform.

Your talent evaluations suck. Period. END OF STORY.

I truly feel at this point I am DONE. I absolutely despise what Bob Kraft, Jonathan Kraft, and that snake Mayo have done to this team. Sadly even the rare, positive big play brings me no joy like they even did over the last four mediocre years.

Why do you think that MAYO is a snake?

Which bar are you watching the games at in Dallas?

AVP is great

Bedard warned in the preseason that he was concerned about Brissett's processing speed on plays. Unfortunately he was right. Brissett is not a guy you want behind a disaster of an o-line. He didn't have time for even a fast processing QB on a lot of plays, but he did on others and missed a lot of wide open receivers. I am wondering if the Pats would have been better off getting a guy like Tannehill over Brissett. Tannehill ain't great either, but he isn't as bad as Brissett in this situation.

All that said, I still am against rushing Maye into the starting line up. If the o-line is as bad as it was today, there is little benefit to him being out there and he is as much as a risk of regressing as learning in a situation like this.

If Brissett ends up getting injured, I'd bring in Tannehill and play him instead of playing Maye.. Just to keep Maye from dealing with so much horridness.

Bledsoe and Friesz took 48 sacks in 2000. Pats lucked out to have drafted Matt Light in 2001. They didn't really improve the RT position until 2009 when they got Kazcur. Prior to that it was a mish-mash of Grant Williams, Greg Robinson-Randall, Kenyatta Jones, Adrian Klemm, Brandon Gorin, Tom Ashworth. Then it was Vollmer followed by Cannon.

AVP's miss direction like he missed on Flacco in FA for the Terrible Brissett yeah we have a winner @ OC.
