I hope this sparks some good conversation because I can't take much more Wolf and Mayo suck or give them some time because BB left them ****.
I am not suggesting contract lengths or money, rather putting together a list of players I am interested in for this team that I will keep my eye on this year.

LT Dan Moore: The priority Should be bringing in quality players, starters and depth. Moore is playing very well for the Steelers and is still young.

C Connor Williams: I don't know if I really believe that Andrews plays beyond 2024. I know he signed an extension but he has been pushed around more this year than I remember in recent years. If nothing else it brings competition to the position.

LG Will Fries: Competition for Sow and Robinson. Will play opposite Owenu.

OT's: Moore, Wallace, Campbell(draft pick), Developmental OT
OG's: Owenu, Sow, Robinson, Fries, Strange
C: Williams, Andrews

IDL Levi Onwuzurike
IDL Alim Mcneil:
Both young guys that tend to be penetrators as opposed to space eaters.

DL: Barmore(hopefully he has a full recovery), Godchaux, Johnson, McNeil, Onwuzurike

Edge: Patrick Jones
Edge: White, Jennings, Kromah, Jones

CB: Kristian Fulton: Its time we bring in a bonafide CB FA to start opposite Gonzo. Jon Jones has been very good but at 33 I think his time here is up.
CB: Paulson Adebo:

CB: Fulton, Adebo, Gonzo, M. Jones, Dial

I anticipate the Personnel department spending some money next year because Maye should be up and running at a quick pace so this rebuild could completed fairly quickly. I am sure there will be smaller signings made as well but these are some higher end players I think would elevate our squad. I have thoughts on the entire draft but want to wait until later in the year to see more of the Pats and the college season.

Thoughts on the players suggested and areas that you move in.

LG? if strange comes back, i think he will do well in this blocking scheme... might not have to spend in free agency on that position... but if they do go forward, I do not have a problem with us spending cap dollars on the OL...

looking at our list of free agents, Wise, Eukale and/or Pharms - 2 out of the 3 should be retained as depth for DL rotation unless significantly better prospects are out there... everyone else I'm meh on right now...

I’m going to need a bigger sample size than three games for Dan Moore, because Steelers fans have absolutely hated him for the last three years.

Taking an early look at the fa class it seems like cb and dt may have the best opportunities to spend some cash. I like your choices there. Rest may need to come via draft. I think we’re okay on the interior ol especially if strange returns. I think Id wait on dishing out any major resources here if you can get a good look at j andrews and possibly strange at c. Hopefully wherever we pick we’ll be in position to land good prospects at ot and edge because im not seeing this as a favorable class there.

Moore id keep an eye on but definitely need to see more than a few games there. Before this year hes been below average at best. If he has a good year id be very interested and guessing he’ll hit the market, not sure if the Steelers will want to invest alot in him long term as they spent their last 2 first rounders on OT.

the cap will go up majority of good players will get resigned to their current teams, the few available marquee free agents will play in Florida and Texas.
And we will again be looking at overpaying and trying to find diamonds in the rough.

Out best bet is draft and trades.

No Higgins on your list
For us to get any WR worth a squirt of pi$$ to want to come here, Drake Maye needs to play and show that he’s the man and the future. Probably not gonna happen this year so that will have to be a goal for the year after next.

No Higgins on your list
No, dude is hurt a lot and I don't think the cost/benefit is worth it. Not opposed to upgrading the WR room, but I would like to see Maye with what we have. Higgins hamstrings are like cold rubber bands, in that they tear and don't seem pliable.

I also feel like the OL and DL need addressed before WR.

Sadly I agree with you, but I wanted to go through the futile exercise of making my wish list.

Fair point

I have no problem with that wish list at all. I'd like to add possibly wolf seeking a trade with GB for CB Jhaire Alexander... all pro, physical, smart and instinctive.. excellent against bigger WR'S..

He would be excellent across from gonzo.

I agree with you about Alexander, but I was hesitant to use trades because I think the Pts need all the higher picks they can get. It depends on the price, but as good as he is I bet the price is large in draft compensation

Well..I remember earlier in the offseason on NFL network he wasn't happy with his usage in the Defense by the DC.. so with that in mind.. and ties wolf has to GB.. maybe say a 3rd we got for judon and then maybe say a 5th rounder? Just guessing.

The real questions here for me are whether

• Wolf and his team know what they are doing in bringing in free agents or draft picks to play tackle.
• Scott Peters can coach them well enough to be successful at whatever AVP thinks they should be trying to do.

So far I have no reason to believe the answer to either of those questions is yes.

I would address the OL and RB (and any other "Gems" that we can find) in the Draft. Young Defensive players will be obtainable in FA. I'm not saying we should draft a defensive player, just that OL and RB are bigger needs. If we'd gotten Braelon Allen when he was there for the taking, it would be less of a need.

Based on 1 pick? I thought the video was going to be 5 to 10 plays. I hope the Pats analysis is a bit more in depth
Well I don't know.. I'm not sure they have that capability... and of course not based on one pick it's his entire body of work.. cmon.. even@ wozzy knows this! LOL..
